I took a leap of faith given some of the customer feedback, and have only just received it today and set it up/tested it. So far very good, I’m impressed. I bought it to use before drilling through walls to mount things, mindful of pipes and electrics. My wall pipe/electric sensor is not very accurate, so there is nothing like actually seeing in the hole! I have tested the endoscope in confined and dark places and used the easy to operate wheel knob light control to adjust brightness from very bright to very dim, or even off completely. It works a treat. Focus is fine, it does not auto focus (which cannot be expected with a fixed cable camera) but even out of focus it is possible to determine what things are, even at a great distance (30 metres plus! When viewed outside my window as a test). At 5.5mm the diameter of the head is smaller than most competitors, meaning I can access through my usual drill fixing diameter of 6 mm, to determine structure and safety before continuing with drilling. It has 6 tiny leds on the head which provides incredible light for their size. The app is easy to use (set it up in under a minute on my iPad out of the box) - just remember to turn off your VPN app if you have one! Unlike the really expensive purpose made electrician endoscopes which provide a small 2-4 inch screen at a cost of £100 upwards, I was viewing images on my iPad pro at 12.9 inches, with super clarity. There are so many uses this camera can be put to; the app allows easy photographing to capture images, or you can do this using the button on the camera handset controls. You can also capture video image by pressing the video record button on the app. This would be handy for inspecting pipes. The WiFi app can be easily reconfigured to change the device wifi name, and your own password.

I bought this specifically to view inside a car engines cylinders, i was dubious about what i would get as the camera is quite cheap but i was pleased with the results although it wasn't perfect.Installing the app and connected by wifi from my iphone was simple. The LED brightness control wheel is a bit flimsy but works well enough. The device also has zoom buttons and a photo button which worked as they should with the photos being stored with other photos on my iphone.I chose this camera because of it's short focal distance of down to 3cm, it worked fine inside the engine but as expected doesn't focus at longer distances so general viewing around then engine bay didn't really work.A negative point was that the mirror attachment was out of alignment so around one third of the viewable image was just the casing of the mirror not what i wanted to see. I'm waiting to see if the seller can supply a replacement.Overall i'm happy with what i got but it's not something you would use on a daily basis

Needed this for running a cable where we couldn't see the blockage. The battery lasted out for the job at hand, and I've kept it plugged in when not in use to avoid any battery loss, but so far, its lasted well. Picture quality is surprisingly good. While the scope itself is relatively good at keeping the shape, I found it easier to use an electricians rod and an elastic band to make it easier to work within hard to reach places with more accuracy). Setup was simple, and once you understand the process of 1) connect to the device's wifi hotspot 2) then open the app - it works really well. Excellent product for the price.

Great little camera at a very reasonable price, used in my work as a vehicle technician too inspect and small areas and take pictures for warranty

Good value for money. Having a sturdy, moveable body helps however it’s very very difficult to push it around a right angle. That being said, this has helped me get intontight spaces around the house and detect a leak. Note, I haven’t submerged in water fully.

Great product! So easy to set up and fantastic picture quality for the money. Already used it a number of times to locate cables and pipe work hidden behind boxing. The rigid cable makes it easy to feed into spaces. Thoroughly recommend this camera!

I used this to inspect pipe work inside a boxing and found this to be is a brilliant endoscope.The image is very clear and seems well focused when close up.Its good that the cable is strong and not flimsy as you can bend around easier in tight spaces,also it connects straight away.

Cheaper than purchasing a video probe or handheld snake eye. More flexible than some endoscopes on the market. Easy to connect and use. Reaches areas other probes don't reach. Comes with a magnetic tip. Good quality resolution on the picture.
