Excellent product and color
I have been wearing Spirit by MAC ever since MAC hit the market. I normally buy budget cosmetics at the local drugstore except my lipstick and pressed powder by MAC. Drugstore lipsticks (and some of the other high-end ones even) seem to be thin and some stain my lips and bleed. MAC lipstick is thick and creamy, it moisturizes and feels silky on the lips, and does not stain my lips. It also does not bleed nearly as badly as some of the other lipsticks I have tried. Bleeding is inevitable as we age and those little wrinkles set around the lips.) It lasts much longer than drugstore type cosmetics, and this color, Spirit, can go from casual to formal occasions with the addition of lip-liner. The color is a pinkish brown and is not at all garish, nor understated. My sister has darker complexion than I, and this color looks great on her, too!
