These little wood slices are perfect for making tree ornaments. Size is excellent (with a little variation, they are not all uniform), they are quite thick and very natural-looking. Love also that they are pre-drilled and the hanging string was included, and overall the price is fantastic for the number and size of the slices. They are a little bit fragile. One developed a crack through its entire thickness overnight after I painted it (see pic). Also taking off one star for the bark, which can be a flaky (see second pic). It kind of adds to the rustic look, so some might enjoy that.

I’m overall happy with this product, however I ordered the 2.75”-3.15” slices and one of the slices only had a diameter of 2.5”. For me the size was substantial because I was making photo ornaments. This being the main reason I took off a star. Little bits of the bark did break off, but no large pieces that would ruin the appearance of the end product. No mold or condensation, which was a lot of the bad reviews I saw for other products. Also all the slices are well intact, no cracking of any kind. I would buy again if the need arises.

I bought these to try them out for wedding favors I'm building out. The wood is nice and overall the product seems to work well for it's intended purpose, my stamp looks lovely on it. Unfortunately out of the 10 in my order one was really oversized and 3 were undersized. Leaving me with only 6 I can use for the intended purpose. Because of that I can only give it 4 stars. If you are hoping to have something with the same overall size this may not be the best option. I had hoped it would work but seeing as I need to buy multiple sets I don't want to run the risk that I can only use half.

I was a little nervous about these since a few reviews said missing bark or pre-drilled holes. However I needed this quantity for a kids ornament project and the price was the best I could find for the amount. I was very happy when they arrived. The quality is great, they were all packed in bubble wrap, twine included, none had missing bark and the kids had a blast decorating them!

These work perfectly for labeling Christmas stockings in my Arctic/woodsy theme. I took a red Sharpie to a couple and a green Sharpie to a couple to write family names. However, if you're artistic, you could do a lot with these. The bark stayed on all of them through the season and seems like it will continue to do so. The twine was easy to thread, cut and tie.

I am very happy with the wood slices, great size nice and smooth for painting on, I had bought shatterproof balls to do Christmas painting on and found them very hard to do got the idea to try the wood slices and it's the best thing I could have done, everything is coming out great. I'll definitely be buying more of the same when I've used these. Have also recommended them to my craft ladies, the old rustic look in Christmas decorations is coming back Yahoo!!

These are small and I got half that were abt 4" larger and half that were closer to 3". However, they are good enough to practice pyrography on!

I love the craft idea! This wooden slices are great! We made some Christmas ornaments, each slice has hole so it's easy to handle it somewhere. This slices looks like from real wood, but they dont smell at all. My kids was happy paint on it!
