I’ve never written an Amazon review before but this duvet has finally compelled me to. I was very much on the fence about ordering it and wasting more money on yet another mediocre purchase. I’m thrilled to say this is so beyond any expectation I’d had. It is pure unadulterated comfort. Seriously. I wrongly assumed goose down was my best option for warmth but it was so impractical between allergies and the inevitable shifting of feathers not to mention the cloying suffocation soon after feeling warm. Hardly conducive to getting a good nights rest battling your comforter.Enter camel hair. Where has this been all my life? Finally reading about the cruelty inherent to the down industry led me to this wonderful purchase.Prior to buying I wrote asking lots of questions. The seller was super helpful and I ended up going with her suggestion of 4000 grams in a queen size. It’s superfine organic camel hair inside the softest cover imaginable. I use a duvet cover over it so I can wash just that and leave the duvet perfectly clean. The other thing I have to mention is this has zero smell. I’ve been accused of carrying bloodhound genes I’m so sensitive to any off putting odors. There are none here. Certified by my canine nose.This is Heaven. I had no idea a cover could actually fix a lifelong sleeping problem but this actually allows me to sleep deeply.After buying dozens of supposed fine quality comforters I finally have something that I will treasure for life. there is no tag attached how to care of the blanket.
I expected it to feel like wool ,not like a dawn. extremely warm. Other then it's worth the money I paid.Would be helpful to know how to take care of the blanket.King size i ordered looks like California size which does fit my duvets.

Like sleeping wrapped in a cloud
I was always suspicious when I read other people say: "since buying xyz I am sleeping so much better" BUT now I am saying this myself with full confidence - since I bought this camel hair comforter my sleep improved significantly. This comforter is simply wonderful, it wraps you in warmth, but it is not suffocating heat like from the down comforters I had before. The most important for me - it does not give me allergies and I wake up refreshed. The only regret I have is that I did not know about camel hair comforters years ago and suffered allergies of sleeping under so-called hypoallergenic down unnecessarily.
