Awesome Little Peppers
First of all, I'll say that I had two things going against me when I attempted to grow these. One, I live in NH, which isn't exactly known for its tropical climate. Two, my growing location didn't have the benefit of full sun as I was growing them on my deck in containers. That said, these things did very well. Germination for me was 100% successful. All I did was drop the seeds in a cup of distilled water and let them hang out for a few days. After day 1, I pushed the seeds to the bottom of the glass, and in a few days, I saw taproots showing. Carefully, I used a spoon to put them in some Jiffy plugs (soaked in distilled water beforehand), and waited a few more days. Soon, they all sprouted. The key is to keep the area warm to encourage the plants to start growing. After that, I made a soil mix of plain soil, perlite, and Fox Farm fertilizer. The plants did wonderfully. Even though high temps have been around 50 degrees or so (late Oct), they're still growing and producing new peppers. The taste is very fruity and spicy. I haven't dared eating a whole one yet, but I have used it in some salsas and chilis and they add a nice kick. Luckily I have a few seeds saved, so I'll definitely grow these again next season.

They gave more seeds than it says plus they gave a bonus sunflower seed as well.
Out of the 5 seeds I planted only one germinated. I hope they'd given a bit more info on how to cultivate the seed and maybe some pictures or description. I'm not even sure if it was scotch bonnet seed that germinated. I'll have to waith a month or so to see. It started with small roundish leaves unusual for chili peppers. I might change it to five stars depending on the result of the fruit itself.

A healing pepper
Many will tell you that the scotch bonnet is very hot and also tastes very good so no need to expand upon that point. What really hit me about this pepper is that, like all hot peppers, it can act as a pain killer. I've been diagnosed with fibromialgia for a long time now and suffer constant muscle pain alongside headaches, muscle stiffness, fatigue... And while the scotch bonnet certainly doesn't cure fatigue, if I eat a whole one, it takes all my pain away for about 30 minutes. That may not seem like much to some but for me, it's a god-send. While I've tried practically every pain killer out there, nothing worked like this one does and as long as I keep popping one every half-hour I can stay relatively pain free. Watch out though! This hot pepper is very hot! It certainly isn't a pepper for beginners!

Was not given Scotch Bonnet seeds....
Ok, so I bought these seeds in March, germinated them, transplanted them, watched them grow... fast forward to July, when the first fruit started to emerge. Now, I'm no pepper expert, but I've been growing different kinds over the past several years, and I know I wasn't given Scotch Bonnet seeds. These look like banana peppers to me? I'm not sure as they are now maturing and turning a darker color than what banana peppers turn. Anyway, I contacted the seller and they basically ignored me and I was sent a message saying my purchase was too late to be refunded. My question is, how am I supposed to know if seeds for peppers are what they say they are until they produce fruit, which would take months. I've never written a bad review about a product before, but here I am. STAY AWAY from buying from here. You likely won't get what you paid for, it's expensive, and you'll waste your time growing peppers you didn't want. Thanks for nothing.

Shipped Quickly
We planted these and most of them grew. They were a bit of work, but worth it. Super hot peppers and fun to grow and then make hot sauce.

I planted this a week or so ago and every single seed germinated and I have a cute collection of 2" Scotch bonnets ready to transplant to the garden! Nice! Can't wait to taste them!

14 dollars to ship thirty seeds- buyer beware
Amazon did not give the breakout of shipping charges for a variety of purchases I made and was blown away this company had the audacity to charge $14 for three seed packs of ten seeds. get real! They shipped in two hours and so by the time I figured it out it was too late to cancel order. Clever! I doubt they really shipped and probably wont get them now.Ok so down the road a few years -- should mention-- the seeds did come and they did germinate well and I am happy with my second generation plants this year.
