DecoPac Wedding 15" x 15" x 16" Delivery System Cake Carrier, White

This box worked perfectly for us to transport our daughter’s wedding cake from NY to the wedding venue which was in VA—and that was a 300+ mile trip! Our baker was able to fit a two tiered cake (on a plexiglass round) in this box. The bottom tier was 10” in diameter, the 2nd tier was 8” in diameter with fairly high gum paste floral decorations placed on the top layer—there were still a couple of inches of clearance between those decorations and the box lid. The cake traveled totally safely in this box (I drove VERY carefully!) which we placed inside an even larger open (no lid) box with big frozen gel packs between the boxes to keep the cake fresh. I would pull over every so often, get out and lift the cake box lid to assure myself that the cake was okay and at every single stop I was given that reassurance. When we got to the venue in VA and unboxed the cake, I was absolutely thrilled to see there had been no sliding around or damage to the cake at all. We opened the side of the box and carefully slid the cake out and lifted it up on the gold cake stand. I did have to finish placing the floral decorations at the bottom of the 1st and 2nd tiers because they probably would have fallen off the narrow “ledges” during transport and I also placed the cake topper on top, but the box itself worked flawlessly. Between a baker who used the correct support structures for the cake and this fabulous sturdy box, my blood pressure was able to come back down as soon as we arrived at the venue and unboxed it. Three hundred miles from home!

Great cake box. It kept my two layer cake steady and secure when I needed to transport it to a wedding. The cake box gave great support with the indented base feature. A little pricey but did the job.

Even the bakery was impressed with this box. It was very expensive but I needed it to transport a double layer decorated cake and the cake arrived in perfect condition.

I bake cakes for occasions and friends and transport is always a problem. the box is strong, and it is easy to slide the cake in one side while the other sides stay in place and because it is well constructed you done have to worry about the box collapsing around the cake when you carry it.

I liked the box. It was easy to put together and it held the wedding cake beautifully. However, I think the price should be lower than $29.99. I would have bought more but, like I said, it was priced too high. I had to include the box price in with the cost of the wedding cake I made. I don't like to charge much so this hurt my sale. If the cake box was, say $15, I would have bought 3 or more. Otherwise, the box was great. Very sturdy and easy to clean.

I purchased this box to transport an cake. When I received it and attempted to put it together it was defected. The side tabs on one side had to be taped to stay in and on the other side the tabs didn’t line up to insert the tabs. For the price of this single box this should not be the case.

I made my granddaughter birthday cake and it was very delicate. I ordered the box to guarantee it would be undamaged, the box was GREAT but very pricey I would have given it 5 stars but the cost was steep! All and all it was a really good box but I used it just once!
