So glad I replaced my old digital scale with this one!
Compared to my old digital scale, what I really like about this one is:Backlight with auto off after few secondsBacklight comes back on when weight changesVERY easy to read with size, location and contrast of displayConsistent readings when remove/replace same itemDisplay can be read when something is on the scale.Appears weight is properly incrimental and appears to be good readings at 0.1 gram level

Drains batteries really fast.
Out of the box, I have had an issue with this thing draining batteries way too quickly. I would leave it off and only get maybe 2-3 uses of it per battery. I bought some rechargeable batteries to prevent myself from having to spend likely hundreds on batteries at this point as I've had it for a few months.In addition, as others have mentioned, it does occasionally fluctuate up and down about +/- 30grams without touching it or even coming close to it. Just acts up on its own.I'd really recommend staying away from this thing.

Short lived!
This worked great the first few months I used it; but then it began to error out and stopped Working. I was very disappointed.
