It's more expensive than the knock offs, but 100% better. The knock offs are made with some type of rope that "absorbs" water, rather than wicking it away. The knock offs become a soaking wet mess. The Cape Cod is made of 100% polypropylene (marine quality) nylon rope. Will last for frickin ever.

I love it. I ordered two of these. After a year and a half, they're both still just as nice as they were when I bought them. I use to buy new mats every 3 months due to sun fading and general wearing. These have really saved me in the long run!
