Scary Good or Just Scary O_o Heavy Bass Response missing ample detail especially in mids and highs but still pleasurable sound
First Impressions:Warning! When inserting into the ear there doesn't seem to be any sort of pressure release/equalizing value/hole. The result is if you insert it too quickly it could put extreme amounts of pressure on the eardrum. My first insertion (which was also semi slow and cautious but not slow enough) was not a pleasant experience and the earbuds themselves made loud crackling/tinging noise somewhat similar to the sound of a spaghetti sauce can when you press the top down.If you're aware of this, it's not a big deal but I'd be afraid as a parent handing it to your kids.Aside from this I was pretty happy about the product. I could go from my Sen HD650's (premium headphones) to these without being completely disappointed. A lot of detail is missing but there wasn't any nasty sibilance and the bass wasn't just a single tone (common issues I had with earbuds).I was somewhat disappointed in that the higher frequencies didn't seem to be there at all. It's nice that there's no chance for extreme sibilance even at high volumes but a little sparkle would be greatly appreciated on on these. I could add +6 dB (the maximum on my FiiO x1) to 8k and 16k Hz and not hear any meaningful difference. It really makes me question the 20 to 20k Hz frequency response claim.I did like the fact I could raise the volume to basically my limit and not hear any massive distortion. In fact, you can actually start to hear some of the missing frequency response described above (which is kind of interesting concept for reviews). It's nice knowing when your favorite jam starts playing you have the option of blasting it. Though, I didn't try playing them at higher volumes than I'm comfortable with (probably -10dB lower than a club/concert). Other ppl may want more volume than me but i can't comment on how well they handle more power. I mean, I also don't want to risk frying them within the first week of getting them either >.<.Build Quality:5/5For the price it feels like it's built like a tank. Very impressive.Comfort:5/5Aside from the insertion issue I could wear these for hours pain free. Custom ear tips might improve this more but at the moment I feel I'd be unnecessary and cost as much as the ear buds themselves. In addition, they stick snugly into my ears to the point I can chew things with my head completely tipped sideways without them falling out. I didn't do any sort of jogging with them though. That is not my cup of tea >.>. Oh, and I used the smallest eartips that came with them. Guess my ear canals are smaller than average.Sound Quality3.5/5 (considering the price point and VE Monks)4.0/5 If you like insane amounts of bass. Also, I'm comparing these to the sound quality of the VE Monk Plus (same price I'd rate at 5/5) which has ridiculous sound quality. If the VE monks didn't exist I'd probably rate them as 4.5/5 and 5/5 for bass heads at this price. I gave a higher score if you like bass because VE Monk Plus can't achieve very much being a mere earbud which doesn't make a seal. All in all, I probably would have rated these 4.5/5 overall if I could. The safety issue still concerns me but is manageable. The build quality and comfort really impressed me. Sound-wise I'd recommend VE Monk Plus over them but you'd loose bass, ambient noise reduction, and may fall out of your ear too easily.

Super loud metal ear buds.
I recently made this purchase (1/9/18) waited about a week to give my review since I wanted to make sure I give it a fair try. These ear buds are very well made. I like the braided coated wire, it’s strong and flexible (doesn’t tangle up). The speakers are in a metal case (1st time) for me. The sound is awesome; the sound quality is really good. Surprisingly, these are twice as loud as my Skull Candy ear buds that was not something I was expecting. I always thought ear buds all have the same final output in loudness. These ear buds come with a phone mic, so there not only for listening to music. They are 48” long so plenty long enough for the phone to me in your pocket or shorts. They use these rubber gaskets to get a nice tight fit at the connectors (3.5mm jack & splitter) see my pics. I think this will help with wires breaking which is a common problem with ear buds and charging cables after some use.

No
Has a plastic braided cord. Less tangly than regular ones. Nice.But- quality is lacking. After a single use the left earbud practically died on me. I can still hear things a little bit, but it’s annoying and disappointing.Edit: changed rating from 2 stars, to 1.After a few more uses the sound quality took a dump and everything sounds muffled.Constant buzzing sound as well.

In Love With This!!
The sound is amazing. It's made out of material that makes me feel like it's highly durable and won't break. I am notorious for dropping earbuds, slamming them between the door accidently when i leave the room, or accidently yanking it out of the import. Let's be honest, we all have crazy ways of breaking our earbuds. These things have either broken my earbuds completely, or caused one ear to work and not the other! But these are great because i've dropped and the sound still holds up! I love the material and it makes the bass sounds really nice!

Good headphones, but the bass needs improvement
- Overall sound is clearer than other headphones I have. I tried these with the other ones on the same song to compare.- The bass barely exists unless you turn the headphones way up! I don't know if my earbuds are defective and the bass is broken, but there is like no bass when I have it on the same quieter level as my other earbuds. The bass is what I was hoping for to be stronger and warmer than my other earbuds, but it's weaker!! I prefer a lower volume to protect my hearing. I don't mind turning it up for a couple minutes, but I don't want to have to do that all the time.- Noise cancelling is worded incorrectly. These are noise isolating earbuds because the earbud creates an air seal in your ear canal to reduce outside noises. There isn't active noise cancelling technology in them as best as I can tell.- The cord doesn't tangle up. It has a rubbery coating to it. I like it. I also like the connector end's rubber piece & design seems good.- They look good and feel good (comfortable).- If not for the weak bass at lower volume, I'd give these a higher rating.
