The ink is very smooth for writing and ink flow is also good. You get good amount of shading even on ...
I was looking for a different shade of blue ink other than the typical shades which are very common and can be found in ball point pens too. Then what's the point of having fountain pen. It's one of the advantage of having fountain pen as you can use a variety of inks and try different colours to mix up things in the field of writing. So, after lot of searching, I stumbled on this Daytone Fountain Pen Ink. I chose Turquoise Blue colour as it looked different and more interesting visually. When I got the bottle, I inked up my pen and tried it. The ink is very smooth for writing and ink flow is also good. You get good amount of shading even on some absorbent papers which generally doesn't happen. The quantity is enormous so it will last you for years to come. One more thing you can do with this much extra ink is to use it in calligraphy fountain pens. That will be a good utilization of the ink and your writing will look more cool in stub nibs and will add an attraction to the journal or diary you may write to note down your experiences.Reason for not giving all star is that the ink colour though it says turquoise blue, it's a bit dull shade rather than being bright. But still it stands out from other blues. You can see the attached image for a clearer picture. I wrote it with my old pen from school days which is Chelpark Antic. For better results, try ink resistant paper which can give you good shading and a bit bright colour. So grab this bottle if you like this shade. The ink is pretty good for this price, both quantity and quality wise.Happy writing...

Finding a good TUQUOISE BLUE.. This is the ONE u r looking for... V
Well... Here's Sayak again... ;)Well, r u looking for a TURQUOISE BLUE ink? Then u should have this one...The Daytone Turquoise Blue ink is a good dye based ink. Since it is dye based, there will be no clotting in your feed nor in nib.A good bright ink it is. No feathering, no bleed through paper... Good ink...Well this also dont show any kind of SHADE..Before I couldnt find one Turquoise ink so I ended up with a PELIKAN 4001 TURQUOISE which is far better than this & also much higher in cost....But this the best u can get at this price...2 very rigid, sturdy & hard bottle (500mL each). Looks weird, but good at this price point.Flow is all well, recently manufactured (one last month & the other bottle this month)...Looks very good with my Pilot Metro as well as with my Twsbi Eco..Will look forward to do a review on my BLOG soon...For any further details regarding any inks or fountain pens, u can freely ask me in my facebook account - fb/sayak.pal1For my reviews on fountain pens, u can checkout in my BLOG- sayakpal.wordpress.comRegards,Sayak (^__^)
