Royal London - Watch - 41106-05

When I ordered this watch, I was won over by the promises of a moonphase and blue hands. The watch seemed good looking and the sizing reasonable. When it arrived, it didn't work. So, after the painful experience of removing the back (the screws are tiny) I bought some new batteries and installed. This is mildly disappointing as the screws are almost impossible to screw tight due to the size and obviously the water resistance could not be expected to work. However, the watch works and the dials are helpful, abait a bit small and it is large , but comfortable enough for the price point.However, if you are buying this watch for its looks alone, don't bother. Buy a slimmer and cheaper Casio f91w which doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't.I will contradict what I just said, however, because I received enough compliments to make it worth the money and the leather softens well.JUST TO SAY, THOUGH, I PAID £20 FOR THIS, THE PRICE HAS RISEN
