My boyfriend is allergic to cats… prob as bad as it can be. I recently moved in with him; told him getting rid of my cat is not an option…. Tried this stuff a day prior to seeing my bf- NO ALLERGIES WHAT SO EVER. I use this spray, plus brush my cat with a ferminator ( also a 10/10).The spray on the bottle scares my guy, but if you just pray it into your hands and rub into skin- seems to work better. Doesn’t really have an odor, no known negatives yet after using for a week.

It does indeed work.
Short version. It works. It doesn't stink. Cat is pretty chill with it.So I was skeptical but we were in a situation where we needed to bring in our shop cat inside our house. My wife is allergic to cause and the first few days she would puff up badly and just be all sniffles until she washed her face. So I found myself reading other reviews and thinking well what's the worst that could happen? Well. It worked. 3 days after daily use my wife has no issues really. She said her lips was a little itchy and she is isn't puffy at all. Great stuff will absolutely be buying more after our first bottle runs out. We've got him brushed out and daily cleaned with this, so I'm gonna food suit with everyone else and apply it every other day.

Skeptic but it works???
I’m highly allergic to cats, like been to the hospital bad. Some cats affect me more or less than others. My best friend’s cat affected me tk a moderate degree (runny nose to stuffy nose; sneezing; red, itchy, watery eyes - allergy meds didn’t help all the way) so I got this for her. I read someone else said if you use it when the cat has already lived there that it takes longer to work because their dandruff is already over the place, I believe that, I gave this to my friend about 2 weeks before she moved into a new apartment so she had 2 treatments before, now she’s had 5 or so and my symptoms are *significantly* reduced. I can mostly be around with no symptoms for around 7-8 hours before I start seeing any real symptoms, but if I wash my hands in between petting her (I hold my hands in front of me until I remember to wash them so I don’t touch my face because then game over lol, pro tip for any allergy sufferers), and especially if I take an allergy pill right when I get there then I’m pretty much set. Sending a bottle to all my cat parent friends lolI did put it on the cat once, I would either use a really small rag or maybe even unscrew it and hold the bottle to the rag to soak it because you really do need to get all their fur wet and it’s hard when the rag isn’t super damp so we just shielded her face and sprayed it directly on the big parts like her back and stomach

This let us keep our cat
My son was diagnosed with a severe cat pelt allergy and our pediatrician recommended we try Allerpet so we could keep our beloved cat Percy. Percy has been in our family 4 years and our kids would be heartbroken if we had to rehomed him.The package arrived quickly with the included application mitt, no leaks or spillage in the box. It's easy to apply. I brush our cat first then I spray it on him and use the mitt to make sure it gets all the way down to his skin and not just on the putter layer of his fur. I put it all over Percy, even his paws, belly, tail and "man bits" (He's neutered, so where his man bits used to be).(*TIP*)I did transfer the Allerpet into a spray bottle instead of using the bottle it came with that has a flip top lid. That was a bit too much to handle plus the mitt and our cat.My son's allergys manifest in eczema. Eczema on his hands that cracks and bleeds, on his elbows, scalp, feet, knees and legs, even on his tummy. Percy is an indoor/outdoor cat. He doesn't sleep in any of our bedrooms, his cat territory is the common spaces in our home: living room, kitchen, and bathroom. I do vacuum, and clean daily also to reduce dander on the floors and furniture. And Percy also gets a weekly bath. After 2 months of use I can tell a difference. My son can pet Percy without instantly itching and sneezing like crazy. It hasn't negatively effected Percy. He still self grooms and behaves normally. His fur is still as soft and as plentiful as ever. No noticeable fur loss or chemical burns. No odd behaviour after it is applied other than him giving me the stink eye for getting him wet. It doesn't seem to interfere with the flea/tick treatment we apply (we use the neck drops once a month).I do NOT administer the flea/ tick treatment and Allerpet on the same day. I make sure to do his flea/tick treatment on a Monday and his Allerpet every Friday. I have an alarm set in my phone so I don't miss a week of Allerpet.I have recommend Allerpet to my family that has pets so we can still visit without 2 weeks of consequences for our little guy (He's also allergic to dogs!). It works if you use it as directed. We're thrilled that we can keep Percy and manage our son's allergys.
