Works great. The kids love it.

Not really an improvement over the Tedco standard model, but those seem to be hit-or-miss these days. I couldn't get this one to spin for as long, and the flywheel is lighter. Construction is overall strong, but the axle is imprecisely set, and mine wobbles and rattles quite a bit.Every kid should get a chance to play with one. Mysterious forces of the universe in your hands? Good stuff.

Works like crap. It arrived with the ring out of alignment, so when i spin it it just wobbles and falls down

This is way better made than those little dual packs you can buy. It comes with the string to wind it up but it is a little tough to wind becasue it also have a plastic zip strip type handle to use instead of the string whose gear takes space. The zip strip is only about half as long it should be though.

i bought this gyro because i appreciated the physics behind how it works. Anyway, the two screws that you can see are aligned vertically hold this thing in. I had at first thought there was a rod traveling through the axis to hold it in place this is true. I found this out because i dropped it on the floor by accident and had to put it back together. The tie string used to spin the gyro is hard to put on. I wish the string had a smooth end for easy setup, instead it is a nylon string with the end melted (not smooth)

Didn't work. There was something wrong with the bearings massive vibrations the slowed it down. Had to send it back.

I purchased this toy to make a physics presentation. It works fine, but the weight of the external components limits the ability to do certain things which can be done with a lighter design. Nice appearance and sturdy.

Poor quality and mine came bent so it doesn't spin very well at all.Even if it wasnt bent the quality seems pretty poor so I wouldnt recommend this item

Cannot be used as a teaching tool, or as a toy, difficult to operate and demonstrate the gyroscope principle
