Frank Coopers Vintage Oxford Extra Course Cut Marmalade 454g (Pack of 3)

Rich, deep and highly concentrated orange flavor, with underlying sweet and bitter notes. The “Vintage” variety in two textures: Regular and Coarse Cut. The latter has 1” long slivers of rind which make it a real delicacy. A little goes a very long way!

I loved Frank Cooper's Vintage Orange Marmalade years ago when I lived in a city where it was easily available. When I moved to a more rural area without many specialty stores it was nowhere to be found and I eventually forgot about it. Finding it on Amazon was serendipity, since I was looking for something else. I ordered 3 jars and have been enjoying it on my English muffins ever since. It is chunky, flavorful and delicious, not like the wimpy orange marmalades with small ribbons of orange rind surrounded by pale jelly. This is the real thing and once you try it you'll never accept anything less.

Perfect for toast or english muffins. NOT the sickly sweet "marmalade" common to the USA, but dark, bitter sweet, intense flavor; the analogy is good dark chocolate compared to cheap milk chocolate. 3 pack good value if you like it.

I found one of the 3 glass jars to be badly broken when I opened the package, making the contents unusable. The other 2 appear to be OK. Please advise.JR

The Frank Cooper marmalade is much more flavorful and tangy, I find, than any other orange marmalade I've tried, even ordinary stuff made from Seville oranges. And I buy a huge variety of jams and preserves for my own use. The Coopers is very dark. I suspect they caramelize the sugar or something, cooking it a lot and intensifying the flavors. The pieces of orange rind are big and thick.

Coarse cut doesn't spread well on a sandwich.

Best prices around when you order in a three pack.The taste is somewhat bitter. The consistency is very thick just the way it should be.It also appears to be lower on sugar content than other marmalades.

The product delivered very quickly, swathed in bubble-wrap. Very safely packed. I am very glad to have it.
