"Santa's Reindeer Hoof Print Stamp Kits

I was hesitant to purchase this based on the other reviews but for the price I did it anyway and glad I did. This turned out to be a great addition to Christmas morning.It comes with a tray, powder, instructions (on the box) and a foam stamp. You simply pour the powder into the tray (I spread the powder around the tray instead of big hill of it in the middle) then start adding water. The directions say to slowly add 1/3 cup of water. When I was done mixing it I used less than the 1/3 cup stated to get the right consistency. Add a little, then mix it in the tray (I used a butter knife). The directions state the consistency should be that of paint. Mine was thicker than that and didn't really drip like paint. I figured it was better to be thicker than runny.Using the foam stamp I noticed I could get about 2-3 stamps before having to put the foam back into the tray. Some of the prints weren't completely full but do they need to be (check my pic)? The tray is a rectangle so the stamp won't absorb the solution in the corners. You have to push the solution to the middle of the tray (might be a better design to use a rounded tray since the foam of the stamp is curved?). I was able to stamp about 20+ prints on the wood floor and still had a lot of the mixture left over. Some I pressed twice to get a better/fuller print. I didn't have to press hard either.The prints came out pretty good and I noticed they actually glowed (they are white) by the light of the tree (I would have uploaded a pic but you couldn't make out the prints). Neat effect.Christmas morning was a surprise to my little one and this added to the excitement. The prints were the same as when I stamped them (didn't run). They are chalky when they dry and if you step on them (my little one did) you will track it through the house.Now the clean up...Had to do it by hand with soap, water and sponge. The prints were only on a wood floor (the package states not to use this product on carpet).In all I'm happy with the little added enjoyment my 3 year old had with it and resulted in a lot of conversation. Some people think Christmas is all lies but I look at it as encouraging your child's imagination.I added one more pic to show an insert with "helpful tips". One of these is a reminder to add water slowly. I noticed other reviews said it was very runny (clearly not following directions).Enjoy!

I saw this product on Shark Tank and thought hey why not give it a try. I had my daughter leave carrots out along with Santa's cookies on Christmas Eve and after she went to bed I started stamping. The instructions were great and after a couple of practice stamps I got the hang of it. Needless to say the kids were so excited to wake up on Christmas morning to see reindeer hoof prints all over the kitchen. I only used it on tile and not the carpet but the cleanup wasn't too bad and was well worth seeing the kids faces and excitement. I will definitely buy another kit for next Christmas!

Very hard to clean up after. Had to mop several times. Kids liked it but not enough for the mess

We do not have a fireplace so this is how "Santa Claus" enters our house to deliver presents on Christmas Eve. They look good and he believes. The mixture is a little watery and can get messy. Make sure you use a little less water than what are in the instructions.

Very cute idea! We used it outside on our deck. Easy to use.

Shipped this to a friend since her son is finally at that age where he knows who Santa and Rudolph (and all of the other reindeer) are. She sent me video of the deer tracks throughout the tile in her home. Every print looked perfect! They left out cookies & carrots and had a spectacular Christmas. Boy was the little one surprised to find Reindeer were in his house and he slept through it!

Directions were vague. Says add water and consistency should be like paint. Would have been nice to have an exact amount of water. Put the foot prints on my floor. For the most part they looked pretty good. Waited over 6 hours before stepping on them and they were still wet. So while my kids were opening presents i was cleaning up tracks off my floor because people were tracking paint like stuff everywhere. I am very disappointed. I will not be purchasing this product again

This is the second time I have ordered this item. It works really great and my grandkids love the idea of seeing the reindeer hooves on Christmas morning.
