Jesus Is Curriculum Kit: Find a New Way to Be Human Paperback – February 25, 2013

The book is excellent. Read it! This isn't. It's sort of like a movie that is "inspired by" a true story, but then is nothing at all like the story. The videos are well produced. They range from around 4 minutes to 11 or 12 minutes, which makes it a little challenging if your group time is scheduled. The main point or talking point of the video is often a real reach from what the biblical text or story was really saying.As a coordinator of the groups doing this, I had to do a ton of work. The questions were actually quite lame (pointless, and they don't foster discussion), and I wound up having to create all new ones. Some of these new ones came from the participants guide, and some I just made up.I love Judah Smith. His books and sermons are great. This wasn't.

This 8-week study will keep you coming week-after-week as Judah Smith teaches in his down-to-earth style about who Jesus is and what it means to walk out our life as Christians. The questions following each teaching inspire lively dialog and help you to go deeper. The study guide that accompanies the dvd teaching is a great way to reinforce the principles being taught. Our small group is really enjoying this study and I can highly recommend it.

I am so happy with this purchase because after reading the book by Judah this allows me to make Jesus a habit. I have a different outlook when it comes to accepting Jesus in my life. I am paying this forward and starting my own community bible study to help others keep Jesus in their lives 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.

We love this series. Our church life group will use it as a study in the fall. The kit comes with the DVD, the leader's guide, a book and the participant guide. There's truth in every word Judah Smith speaks and writes. If you or your group is desiring to know Jesus and the Father better, this is the study for you.

I saw Judah at the Passion 2013 conference for the first time. If you have not seen this dude, you need to. You are missing out. He he loves JESUS and is totally hipster. I raved about him to my church small group, and they have all loved this study. His book is great. I definitely recommend both his book and study kit.

Great bible study for those new to their faith. I used it with a group of college students boys and girls. It really challenged us and had us dig deeper with the questions. Love Judah and how he presents the gospel.

This group based study is a must have for any church's small group system, our semester of groups found this study's be one of the best.

We purchased this for our interns to go thru a study at our church!! It was amazing the results!!! Great for small group settings with lots of conversation starters. It was a great study and we plan on using it in our church not just with interns.

Not as good as just reading the book but not bad as a more visual version. The video talks are a little thin and miss out some of the best bits of the book but useful nonetheless.

'Jesus is DVD-Based Study Kit' is really excellent. Judah Smith is absolutely brilliant on the DVD.Judah is clever, witty and wise and makes points about Jesus and the Bible that are refreshing revelations.He makes the promises of God's loving purposes come alive.Great presentation and reasoning on film and in the book.The perfect study package!
