Will this work for powermate 196e.1 rear tine tiller

To my understanding Powermate doesn't use Kohler engines. This carb is for a Kohler engine so probably not. You have the numbers necessary to do the research.

Looks identical to the carb off my honda hra 214. like the feedback. will this fit the honda hra 214?

I installed this on a kholer engine and it was just about identical to the original

Very easy install.

Installation was a breeze. Worked first pull on my log splitter. I've gone through a tank and a half of gas and absolutely no problems. I've never done any work with a carburetor before. I was a little intimidated at the prospect of changing the carburetor on my log splitter but it was very simple.

Perfect price and fit

Arrived quickly, identical to the original, removed old, installed the new, condenser and sparkplug. Also came with a new on/off switch, installed didn't use. Fired right up. Alot of parts for $20. All good 👍

Koehler SH65 fired right up.

I’ve got a log splitter with a Kohler 6.5 hp that would only run on full choke. This carb cost less than a carb kit and got my Kohler running like new again. The install was quick and easy and needed no adjustments to run properly.

Works great with no adjustment needed

The gaskets aren’t the best but seem to be sealing. The one ripped at the bolt hole because it wasn’t punched right. Tightened it doesn’t really matter.Other than that, this works perfect. My fuel line split over the winter which I’m sure gummed everything up. and I couldn’t detect spark. Couldn’t get my splitter to run on starter fluid. Replaced my switch, carb and wiring with this kit and it starts right up. Much cheaper than a mobile repair or having to get my log splitter to a shop. Would highly recommend.
