Pros:Red Floral print is GORGEOUS - Just like the picture, very vibrant and feminineMaterial: Silky soft and flowyFit: I followed the comments and size chart and it fits as I anticipated. I am 5'6" not really tall but I prefer longer skirts and this falls long enough I can wear 4" heels with it or wedges and it glides just above the floor.Cons: Extremely sheer. I will have to have a slip altered into the skirt in order to wear it. You can see through to the other side of the skirt when on. This is extremely disappointing as I was hoping to be able to wear this to work. It's sheer enough to wear on the beach with a swim suit.*Update - the fabric has a lot of pulls in it causing it to look extremely worn/tattered. Perhaps I should have hand washed it only and hung to dry. I might purchase another one to try that method. The skirt I originally purchased is no longer wearable.

The red stripe pattern is not exactly as pictured; although it's still very pretty, I'm a bit disappointed. No marbled look, just plain stripes.The skirt has only side seams, not a back center seam, which is great. It isn't a straight or A-line cut, it has a defined flare down from just above the knee. I do like that, but the lower hip area is sewn snugged in tighter than expected and therefore curves under my belly in a way that previous skirts of this type did not. The waist and upper hip are a nice fit though.So although I'll keep this skirt, because I like the colors in general, and the fit will improve as I continue to lose weight, I won't buy this brand again.Update: I'm revising my review from 4 stars to 1 because of the quality of the thread. When I first wore this skirt for a full day, the stretchy wooly nylon thread used on the inside hem became a total mess!As the hem's thread brushed against everything from my shoes to the carpet as I moved and walked, it fuzzed, pilled, and snagged repeatedly in the front and back (not as much on the skirt sides) drawing up the hem into a tunnel, bunching up the fabric and thereby ruining the skirt hem as viewed from the outside. In fact, the fuzzy thread pulls were even sticking out from underneath the skirt! The skirt looked horrible!I had to baste the hem in place, remove the nasty thread, and re-sew it with hemming tape (to keep the skirt length) and regular, conventional thread that won't snag, pill or tunnel.So beware that after a wearing or two, your skirt may look a mess at the hemline, making the skirt unwearable, unless you know how to resew it.I am now very disappointed in this purchase on several levels.

The colors are beautiful and vibrant. The fabric is soft and very stretchy. I wear a size 14 bottoms, and ordered the XL. The stretch to the material allowed me to easily slip the skirt on, however, the colors faded out as a result of the stretch over the booty. So, yes, the size XL does fit up to a 39 inch waist as the listed size chart states, and yes, it does fit comfortably onto my curvy booty without trouble, however it thins the vibrant colors with that stretch. I still love the skirt, and will simply wear a tunic length tee or some other longer type top to hide the thinning of the color at the top. The length was perfect for me, at 5'9", the top of the skirt is most definitely a fold-over. When pulled all the way up, without the top folded over, the top of the skirt was just beneath my breast line, and the skirt was skimming the floor. This was a good thing, for me, as It allowed me the versatility to wear cute wedges with the skirt and not worry about my feet sticking out from beneath the flowing lines of the bottom. All in all, the only downside to this garment was the fading color when the material stretched out.

This novias woman summer multicolored print high waist maxi skirt - Yellow flower, is very pretty! The first thing I do have to say though, is make sure to look at the measurements! I got the XL, and that one is 46 inches long.. Way to long for my height to be a skirt on me. But I have found a solution to still be able to wear it since it still is gorgeous. I am going to make it into a dress, I haven't yet sadly, since I need to add some straps and add some material inside of the sides to make it clench together - to be more form fitting. It is my fault that I cannot wear this as a skirt, I wasn't paying attention to the length but it is a wonderful piece and it is so pretty and flowy and will be wonderful to wear in the summer time on a hot day. This skirt is very true to size, so you do not need to worry about it not fitting. It is also very stretchy fabric. Overall I like this piece of clothing a lot and I am going to tweak it up a little so I can wear it as a dress.- I did receive this product for free in return for my honest and unbiased opinion. I really do love this skirt despite it's flaws. The material is silky smooth; the waist dimensions exact; and the best part is the fact the pattern was cut and sewn in such a way as to showcase the large flowers in the print. The only thing wrong is the fact that the distance from the floor to my waist would have to be 50" in order to wear the skirt without walking in the hem. I'm an average 5'6" lady and 6" heels wouldn't fix this issue with the length. I wasn't keen on butchering the flower print by re-hemming to an appropriate length. I kept the skirt because I liked the colors and print. To "fix" the length, I pulled the waist over my chest as if it were a strapless sun dress, and then I wore a tunic to cover the top. The dress wore fine all day working at school without falling. Worn that way, the hem was almost perfect, just brushing the top of my shoes. 👍

It's extremely rare when I write an extremely negative reviews. I was extremely disappointed by the color of the skirt. The picture shows a beautiful yellow,fushia color what arrived wasn't even close the yellow that show in the picture became a sad dark orange/terra cota color the color weren't has light and bright. I was expecting better than that. I tried the skirt I am a small size the waistband was so loose I wouldn't trust to wear it.
