The slots are too close to each other, so that the handles are not easy to grab when you have two knives in contiguous slots.

This is a good block, but the hole for the honing steel is way too small for your average steel, as well as the hole I assume is designed for a carving fork.

The product is exactly as described, no logo which is great and very functional for holding the knifes I already had.

Very solid construction, good value I was most satisfied -other products with same number of slots were much more expensive

This knife block is a god send for my kitchen! I have a bunch of Cutco knives (I used to a rep...) but never had received a block for them. I didn't like the idea of putting them in the drawers and I did not want to spend 125 dollars for a Cutco brand block. So I looked online and found this gem and it fits all my knives perfectly and is of such great quality and looks great on the counter top. It does not slip at all and holds everything like it should. If you have assorted knives, especially Cutco knives, buy this block!! You will not be disappointed.

This item actually looks much better than I anticipated. I was concerned that it might be too light in color and I might have to stain it. However it is not as yellow as it appears and fits right in with the rest of my kitchen. The only drawback is that my kitchen shears do not fit in the slot provided. It arrived on time. A little smaller box would have been sufficient for the product, but no complaints.Would recommend to a friend.

We were looking for a knife block to replace our vertical block which had gotten scarred over the years. We had priced some of the brand name ones and didn't want to spend that much money. Then, we found this knife block. It is well made for the price and holds all our knives with room for steak knives as well. This isn't up to the quality that would come with a set of shun knives so don't expect it to impress the neighbors with its craftsmanship but it is functional and a great organizer for knives.

I was pleased with the sturdiness and solidity of the knife block. It holds all my knives. I would only wish for a larger spot for a third pair of scissors but that is probably a personal requirement. Overall, I would recommend this product for a good answer to storing lots of knives. I was tired of trying to find my knives in the back of the silverware drawer!
