Shaving requires lather. You will not get a lather with this dish, I will not call it a bowl. No way this should be listed as a shaving lather bowl. I have seen larger soy sauce dishes on a sushi bar, no kidding. Don't order this for shaving. I will say the quality of the dish is great. It is well constructed and looks very nice.

I use it daily. It builds a great lather. My only complaint is it could be bigger. I shave my head as well. I would love to be able to build more leather in this bowl. But performs great as is.
