Alternative use for this product
I was searching for some product to "finish" the back of my art canvases. The "blue" tape works well around the edges on the back side of canvases to prevent a lot of paint and glue drip, etc., but that tape is not so professional looking on a finished piece. I found this Shurtape while searching for something to adhere well and have a cleaner look to the back edges. I like that this tape adheres well - either by itself or to secure Kraft paper/butcher paper or lightweight cardboard to the back of the canvases. A very nice, clean look!

great tape
3this is a great sticky tape that holds well, real sticky and looks great.really holds that package together and survives the shipping, I personally use itto reinforce all my storage boxes. A little tape makes that storage box that cost$2.50 or $9.95 last so much longer or that free box will last forever with a little tapefor security at a little cost for a roll of tape that goes so far. I actually have this tape inthree different widths. they are all great!!!!

Total Disappointment - Weak Adhesive
I intended to use this tape to adhere light cardstock to the backs of my paintings to hide the messiness of excess paint that had dried on the edges of the backside. I am trying to sell my paintings so I want them to be as neat and professional looking as I can possibly make them. Having said that I always wipe the back edges of the canvases with rubbing alcohol to remove oils and such so that the tape has a clean surface to stick to. I then use a plastic scraper tool to burnish and I also apply pressure as I rub my fingers along the edges to make an airtight seal. This process seemed to work great and I covered a couple dozen paintings. That was back in September, early October and now at the end of November of the same year, just two (2) months later, the tape is lifting from the canvases. I guess I should have used glue in addition to the tape, but it never crossed my mind I would have to reinforce the adhesive on the tape.I am totally bummed because now I have to remove the tape from all of my paintings and redo by gluing the tape to the edges; I can't assume this won't happen to every painting so redo here I come.I do not recommend this product for any project you want permanent adhesion unless you are okay with adding glue to the attachment.

Perfectly matches IPSC targets.
Bought this to use as target paster tape. Perfectly matches IPSC cardboard targets. It's a little pricey, but it meets my needs.

Thick, quality tape
Using it to label mason jars. Nice, rustic look. Stayed on even when I got olive oil all over the side of a jar. Removed without leaving a residue from a glass jar it was on for about a month. Not sure how heat/extended time will affect its ability to come off without a struggle.

used to cover bullets holes in a cardboard IDPA target...
Good quality tape at a good price. The tape is being used to cover bullet holes in cardboard targets. Good quality, it blends beautifully with the cardboard color.
