Best way to clasp them shut is by aligning the thin clasp right on top of the hoop .. Then, use your thumb to apply a bit of pressure until you hear it snap back into place. You want to use the tip of your nail on your thumb to apply the pressure, this is the only way that works for me but it works! Practice snapping it shut before putting it in your ear to see just how much pressure to apply to the clasp. Then the next trick is to insert the earring from the back of the ear so you can see how you are clasping it shut in the mirror. Follow this and it should work !!!

I don’t normally write reviews, but for this item - I have to. Have you ever gotten mad over an object? You find yourself so frustrated because a thing is not doing the “thing” that it is meant to do? Well, Yeah! That is exactly how I feel about these earnings. 7 bucks, okay yeah I should not expect much. I thought, maybe it would get tarnished fast because it’s so cheap. But the real problem lies in the making of the product. The clasp is terrible!! I spent 30-45 min trying to put these earrings in.. even asked my boyfriend to help me and he couldn’t get them in. I read the reviews before purchasing and I still thought I’d give it a shot. My mistake! Never again. And you should really only buy the 12MM. 10 is still to small.

I put these in my ear lobe piercings and they are a great size for the snug-look I was going for. But at the same time they were pretty tricky to get closed once you have them on. I wish the clasp was a bit easier to maneuver because now I feel like I don't want to take them off just to avoid the process of getting them on again.

Love the look. Hate the clasp! It was very hard to get on, but I read a review to go from the back of the lobe and that made it easier because you can see... I got them in after a good 10 minutes. I don’t think I’m ever taking them out though because they were that challenging. Ugh.

The size is fine and fits well in my cartilage. I usually have sensitive ears and these have not caused any sensitivity. They are hard to close which is my only complaint. But for the price they are great
