My hair is wavy and honestly I don’t even know what I’m doing taking care of it. I do know that for simple days I use Maui curl cream which is awesome, and for full styling days, I use this product which is so lightweight. Even though I have a lot of hair it’s fine. This smells yummy like all of their products, very soft, and helped keep my waves in line with no frizz. It didn’t dry out my hair which is a major plus. It’s a silky texture; I also use more than it says to. I use more like a quarter size for each side. Honestly great for touch ups too so it holds up well for my hair type. A bonus, if it does protect against the sun that’s amazing because my kiddos have sports five times a week, one of them being tennis which is outside for several hours.

This is my favorite product from the Sun Bum line for curly hair. I recently got a beach wave perm and was looking at many different products & brands. I stumbled upon the Sun Bum line and bought everything they had for curly/wavy hair to try in my quest to find a good product to replace the Aussie line I had always used. I’ve used this for 2 weeks now, I use this fresh out of the shower. I use a large tooth comb to detangle, then while my hair is still very wet, I flip my head down and while my hair is hanging I apply this & work it throughly threw my hair. I then use a hair towel to scrunch my hair up in sections, that removes any excess water and adds life and hold to my curls. I then do my makeup and finish my morning routine as my hair is air drying, when it’s just a little damp I then use the Sun Bum curling whipped mousse. I add a little towards my scalp working it in with my fingers, then put a quarter size amount of the mousse in my hand & apply it from the bottom of my hair scrunching it with my fist in an up direction then letting the curls fall naturally. I love these 2 products when used together. Long lasting, beautiful natural looking not crunchy feeling curls that last all day, with no frizz even on humid or windy days. If you’re on the fence, but it and try it. I was hesitant but after 2 weeks of using it I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. I get so many compliments on how soft my hair is and how beautiful the curls are. Also on the smell!! It smells great!!

Love, love, love this hair cream! Has the sunbum scent that I love and works great on my curls. Not too heavy or thick. Just wish it came in a bigger size. Everytime I wear it, I get compliments on how good my hair smells.

It's really. Smells well, hair are soft. Only reason for 4 star, it's kind of weighting down my hair. But it curls well

My hair has changed to wavy over the last year-ish so I switched to the Curly Girl Method. I've been trying all kinds of products trying to find the right one for my wavy hair and I really like this one. If you've ever used their sunscreens it smells like the same coconut and slightly banana. The smell is pleasant but not so strong that it lingers and is overpowering. It has left my waves soft and hydrated. Using this along with their waves shampoo, 3-in-1 leave-in conditioner and wave style cream has done wonders for my waves. I wash every 2-3 days, refeshing in between with a bit of water and more 3-in-1 if my hair feels on the dry side. I would recommend it.

It's fine. I bought it out of curiosity. It's more of a gel than a cream. It has a lightweight hold, doesn't feel too strong (may be good or bad depending what you want).

my hair is wavy and i kind of just get up and go to work i dont brush my hair. my hair is a little frizzy and i love all the sun bum stuff. this smells so good during the day ill get a whiff of it and im like wait did i go to the beach?! also really smooths out my hair. i just put some through my hair before i leave to work and it makes my hair look so much better. i got the subscription going
