American Drum Pair of Short Soft Rubber Mallets (Yellow)

I bought a rain drum as it's much more soothing than the sound of most baby instruments. But, I was a bit nervous that he would hurt himself with the wood stick, or that the end could come off and choke him. Well, thankfully someone was ahead of the curve. These are FANTASTIC! They are lighter, smaller, easy to wash off and very well made. The ends are a bit larger so less concern around choking and seem to be very well attached. He loves them and I love the new piece of mind. A++

I use them to turn my Djembe into a bass drum :) They do not damage the surface but give a lovely deep sound. i use many small percussion instruments in ways not usually used to get different musical sounds without having to carry a lot of stuff to gigs and this mallet works beautifully for that purpose.

Ordered these modestly priced mallets when we installed a music wall on our playground fence. They exceeded my expectations. They are attractive to the children, sturdy enough for outdoor use, sized for children (both toddlers and 3-6 year olds), and they make a more muted noise when banged by a strong five-year old against a metal pan.Montessori School Director

The quality of the mallets is outstanding, yet the price was reasonable. They are just right for our young grandchild to use on our wooden box drum; I wanted something safe to use, yet having instrumental quality. Delivery was efficient, and purchasing them online satisfied the problem of the mallets' lack of availability locally.

These are great mallets for drumming, and sturdy enough to last for years and years. Both toddler (18 months) and preschooler (~4 yrs) have fun using these.

Great mallet!

I purchasedcan entry level tongue drum for my 3 year old granddaughter. The problem was the mallets. They are not suitable for a young child, and probably not intended for one, either. The handles are not sharp, but could definitely cause an injury if used for other purposes. My granddaughter immediately broke one of the handles by sticking it into the opening of the drum and snapping it off. I replaced the mallets with the very reasonably priced American Short Drum Mallets, also available on Amazon. The American mallets are a more appropriate length for a child, as well as having nylon handles. The quality of the sound from the American mallets are comparable to the mallets that come with the X8 drum.
