Middle-aged woman successfully uses heavy Extension Wand! with Sun Joe Pressure Washer (using adapter)
I needed an extension wand in order to clean the attic level siding of my 1-story house. I got the shorter (18-foot) extension wand. I had been rather worried, based on the other reviewers' comments about how heavy and uncontrollable it was, that as a 5'7" not-athletic middle-aged woman I would not be able to use it. But it worked out OK. I extended the wand only as much as needed, and used the nozzle one step more powerful than recommended for siding, and I paced myself. I got the job done. I could not handle the heavy wand for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. I had to plan where I was going to wash, position myself, and then press the trigger. So there was no walking around with it while the trigger was pressed, and I braced it against my body. I couldn't wash siding for a living with this, of course, or even for an afternoon for that matter. But for the job I needed to do, it worked fine.I should also mention that I attached this wand to a Sun Joe SPX 3000 electric pressure washer. The Sun Joes's use a M22-15mm fitting, in contrast to the standard (US) M22-14mm fitting. The end of the extension wand is a 3/8" NPT male thread. The needed adapter could NOT be found locally (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) or on Amazon, but I was able to find a 3/8" female NPT thread/M22-15mm male adapter on Ebay, from a Michigan-based seller named "pressurewashingsupplycenter"

Uncontrollable when telescoped to full length.
I bought this wand as a hopeful ad to keep from climbing up & down the ladder all day while pressure washing houses. I run my own business & was looking for something to make the pressure washing process faster & more efficient. This wand helps to reach the peaks on 1 story houses, but anything beyond that is unrealistic because it simply becomes uncontrollable. I had read some of the other reviews about it being hard to control & simply assumed that the reviews came from guys that had bought it to do their own homes & perhaps were not as strong as someone that does these task day in & day out. I was wrong! If I had it to do over I would have bought the 18ft & reduced the overall weight & still be able to reach anything & everything you can with this one at the reach that you can still control it. Also bought the back belt & would not recommend it either because it broke within the first 5 minutes of use.

Worked perfectly for my 3 story home
This tool really worked great allowing me to clean the inside and outside of the gutters from the ground. Coupled with Powerfit PF31052B Gutter Cleaner Attachment it was easy to blast the dirt and leaves out of the gutter. I started at the downspout end and worked my way down the gutter rinsing all the dirt out of the gutter. Finally, with a 40 degree tip, I washed the outside of the gutter. The wand itself has a 3/8" female NPT thread at the valve end and a M22 male thread at the tip. It also ships with a 3/8" male quick connect to 3/8" male NPT connector and a 3/8" male to M22 male connector as well depending on the hose type connected to the pressure washer. I wish I knew this before ordering because the description is not clear. There is also a short tube with a slight bend that has a M22 female thread to a 1/4" quick connect for standard pressure washer spray tips.

Works Best at < 18ft.Good - Item was delivered 90% assembled and has a couple different connection hardware options. The bottom two sections are fiberglass and overall the item feels well built and of good quality materials.Bad - The other posts are correct about this being uncontrollable.**At 6 ft (fully retracted) it is 100% controllable and very useful,**At 12ft (one extension out) it becomes slightly unstable as the trigger is squeezed but manageable**At 18ft (two extensions out) it is about 50-75% controllable and is really the extent of this tools usefulness**At 24ft (fully extended) it can be lifted into position but as soon as the trigger is squeezed it becomes uncontrollable to the point it flops around potentially damaging siding or anything in its pathAlso for whatever reason when using the siphon tip from my pressure washer on this wand it would not siphon the cleaning solution. I had to constantly switch back to my "regular" wand to spray the solution then switch back to the extension wand to wash it off.Regarding the comments on needing a support strap (of course sold separately) they are correct. I ended up using a shoulder harness from my string trimmer and a large carabiner clip to hold the extension wand. Without a support strap it's nearly impossible to hold the extension wand (fully extended), squeeze the trigger, and keep it held in any specific position. I am a 40 year old male, and would consider myself fairly strong and in decent shape and it kicked my butt to use this for 2 hours.

doest work worth a crap..
Here is the real scoop.....Made well, but they dont come with nozzle tips you have to order them.....Thought they would come with wand...NOT....I ordered the belt....WAIST, doest work worth a crap.....you are good to about 18 to 20 feet, then its every man for himself. I stood on a ladder and sprayed bleach & Jomax with hand held hose sprayer...let it set for 5 to 10 and then hit it with the wand, my distance was about 30 feet up....i rested the wand on my thigh and worked it back and fourth....for higher reaches, I climbed a 8 foot step ladder and hit it with that.....This wand is not for the weak and afraid....If you dont have a sac, I wouldnt suggest using it.....all in all it is a pretty damn good tool....

this thing cleaned 3 sides of my large house pretty easily - 1 hours x 3 days
It is exactly what I expected. Sure it's hard to control completely extended. who would think it shouldn't be? As a complete amateur this was my first time power washing my house. I used a 3200psi honda pressure washer. this thing cleaned 3 sides of my large house pretty easily - 1 hours x 3 days. my arms were pretty tired at the end of the hour so thats why i split it up. the back of my house is 2.5 stories (ground slopes downward from front) and as long as i just took my time and used the water coming out to my advantage, it was still rather controllable
