Exactly what I expected

Good mat to lay down in hallway, not been damaged by the beasties' claws. We have 3 large dog (husky/Malamute & German shepherd), it dries their paws before they reach the end of it enough to not have soggy paw prints across the floors. It's soft and not too rough against their paws pads.

I purchased one of these 2 years ago and it really does serve its purpose. I machine washed mine frequently on a wool cycle and it would always look new. Sadly my old one eventually wore out and that’s why I’ve purchased another one.

It's a nice mat but I have found on both purchases of these mats that there is a packaging problem. These mats are folded over in the middle and this means there is a kink in the middle. We needed a replacement as our original one came apart in the centre as a result of this fold. I had hoped it would be a one off, but sadly not. I would have retuned the replacement but they are inexpensive and fit perfectly in the recess of our patio doors so I am hoping this one doesn't come apart so quickly.

I purchased this runner a couple of weeks ago. It is just so lovely, soft to touch and looks great and well made. The colours are lovely (I have the brown) and it goes beautifully with my other furnishings. Have had many compliments.It is very efficient, just as described. It does not slip on my tiled floor, collects the wet (is very absorbent), dirt and any other 'muck' brought in by my feet, anyone elses and, of course, my pussy cat, Fluff. I am very happy with my purchase and have already recommended Pet Republic to various people and, Yes, I would certainly use this company again.

Unless your dog is a miniature yorkshire terrier or smaller this carpet is about as much use as a wet rag. My dog simply walks round it. It is far far too small to be any good for bigger dogs. Size wise, if you fold it in half, it's about as big as a very small doormat.
