This is not worth $40
This was a gift to my son for his 40th birthday. I was embarrassed by the low quality and the size of the contents. I wished I had opened it before I gave it to him. It is okay for maybe $10 and not meant to be a true reminder of 1979. In fact I was looking at one for 1959 for my sister and it is they same contents with a different year. Not what I intended for sure.

Perfect 40th Birthday Gift
Our 40th birthday person got a big kick out of the time capsule. He recognized the items included and everyone attending seemed to enjoy remembering the items from their youth. I'd definitely buy this again and recommend it as a clever gift idea. Just be sure to note the overall size so you are not disappointed. It was a bit smaller than I imagined and miniature versions of some items.

Great Gift
I bought this to give as a gift for someone who has everything. She had a great time opening it and her kids thought it was super neat to see what was popular back in her day.

That they are small versions of the original products.
Really liked going down “memory lane” with the items in the time capsule. It was purchased for my son’s 40th birthday.

Not worth the money--do it yourself
The idea is cute, but the value for the money was horrible. for $40 you would be better off buying a card with things that happened that year an getting the items in here (slinky, marbles, rubick's cube, yourself. All were miniature versions. Horrible value for the money.
