I really love this plastic coated wire. It is thin, strong and functional. I have never had a peice break that I have made with this particular wire. The wire is easy to use. It is not stiff and it bends easily. The material is stainless steel with a thin plastic coating over it so that it does not damage your beads. I don’t want to scale I give this wire a 10.

This wire has worked very well for my DIY jewerly making. I've bought several items from this establishment and have not been disappointed.

First time using a beading wire for jewelry making and I choose this one, 19 strand, middle of the road. New to bead making jewelry, bracelets so far. My first wire so I have no basis of comparison other than a friend and how she likes whatever brand she's using.I'll tell you what I like and do not like about this one.LIKE: # of feet of wire you get on the spool, amount of wire you get for the $, color is good, stainless steel/gray works good with my silver findings and beads. Don't LIKE so much: IF I'm not careful when I put individual beads on the wire, the ends start to unravel into tiny filaments that I then have to try and retwist back into unraveled point. Sure, maybe it's my inexperience (hey, I'll try wrapping tape around it... might not work in a tiny bead whole).. but early on it was causing me trouble that I was not happy with since this wire is supposed to be coated with nylon to prevent what I'm talking about, right?! I was having to keep cutting off the ends of the wire to deal w/ the issue. Now, I'm doing better w/ it, but I have to be careful. By the time I through with this spool of wire, I'll decide if I switch brands to try another or continue with this one. I'm still glad of the choices Amazon offers and I really do read the reviews, and since this one had so many reviews, I figured this was the one to try the first time.Update: More than a month in and many bracelets made.... I'm switching to another brand. I'm tired of treating this wire with kid gloves to prevent frayed ends. Got to the point that I'll string it first on stretchy cord to get exactly the design and length I want...then remove and restring all on this wire so to try my best not to touch the cut ends until I'm ready to attach toggles, crimp tubes, wires guards, crimp bead covers etc. It really does not seem to be coated with nylon IMO compared to other brands of wire friends use..

Usually buy Beadalon, but this 49 strand wire worked just as well and costs much less. Live and learn -

I’m glad to have found this tiger tail wire. It’s exactly what I needed for restringing my grandma’s vintage crystal necklaces.

Originally I hated the color Bc it truly is hideous. However, I used it to make the two bracelets in the pictures and it worked beautifully. With a wire guard it takes on a more gold less urine color. Even thru clear beads it looks good. The thickness is perfect, the malleability is wonderful, and the price vs amount you get is great. I am now very happy with this purchase and will be purchasing again in the future which tickles me considering my initial reaction.Original Review:The product is listed as .017” / .46 mm, the product you get is .018” / .45mm. To be fair - the picture shows .018. But that doesn’t mean their listing is right. Also this color is pretty hideous. I will definitely still use it (don’t you judge me). It’s like if an extremely dehydrated person peed and then that pee congealed. That is the color. But add some shine.

Not quite as supple as Beadalon 49-strand wire, but it's suitable for most necklace projects. It's flexible and very kink-resistant.

Calibre parfait, solide, mais difficile de la tordre, il ne garde pas la forme, alors je n’ai pu le fixer en place, il devait rester tendu, il se relâchait sans cesse. (Guitare à chocolat). Probablement parfait pour d’autres usages, avec des bidules pour le serrer et fixer.
