Kellogg's Special K, Breakfast Cereal, Original, .81oz (70 Count)

We own a condo in Florida and I constantly have to be aware of the humidity when we aren't there. What I like about these packages is that for one thing it's portion control and for another it is manufacturer sealed so I can leave them down there. When we get there the next time, I don't have to run out to the store to buy cereal for the next day. Which means I can leave them at the condo over the summer and the humidity won't affect them.While I would have preferred to have purchased a smaller amount of boxes, I will most likely wind up donating some of them to the local soup kitchen.Originally, I got some at a hotel and used them down there. That's how I found out how convenient they were. While more expensive than purchasing a large box of the cereal, once opened I can't leave the box of cereal down there but I can leave these.Update: even tho they are manufacturer sealed, I did find that if I leave them at the condo for the summer, the humidity makes them a bit soggy. So I just bring them home with me and then bring them back down the next time we go down.

I received the order today 04/05/2023, and guess when these expire… 04/05/2023. That is disgusting. These for sure have been sitting in a warehouse for YEAR to have this expiration date. Yuck!!!!!

Tastes good and has more protein

I love special K cereal. It tastes really good.

This product has been excellent for portion control. My husband is dieting and eats one small box every morning with 1% milk. He is losing weight!! The case of 70 serving boxes is convenient to pull from daily. The small packs also are easy to pack when we are traveling. Calories are low particularly with this size. We are really pleased with this choice of cereal!

I think Special K is a wonderful cereal (when I was a little bitty fella folks used to call me special K). But I don't eat Special K. I haven't eaten Special K in about forty years now. Why you may ask. Watch the TV commercials. Special K is aimed or designed for women and women ONLY. I'll just stick with the cereals I've been finding at Whole Foods.

I really wanted to get some of these serving size boxes of cereal but all they had at the grocery were the "fun" boxes of very sweet cereals. We eat this cereal once or twice a day either with milk or with yogurt and fruit. The cereal did not get stale, of course, but be aware if you have storage issues that you will be getting 70 small individual-serving size boxes of cereal. I made the mistake of trying the Rice Krispies at the same time as the Special K and we had boxes of cereal everywhere.
