Doomraga's Revenge: Book 7 (Merlin Saga)

This series is not just for kids.....or it is for the kid still living in adults. These books have changed my life. TA Barron is an amazing story teller and clearly has real esoteric knowledge that he is weaving into his tale of Merlin. These books will kindle the flames of imagination and wonder for the magic that lives in this world and is born out of our hearts. Do yourself a favor and enjoy them!

Great book! I was disappointed by some Merlin books that were not magical enough and were not wholesome enough for my children. These books are wonderful and did not drag in the garbage that some authors did.

Received in very good condition

While these books were written for a young audience, I found the first five very enjoyable. Book six was not so enjoyable, and book seven, this was, was a struggle to read. Very quickly into the book I grew weary of always hearing how 'huge, massive, immense, powerful, enormous, great' the main character, Basilgarrad, was. He appeared on the bottom of page three, and in the next 10 pages, the author used such adjectives at least 15 times when describing the character. This did not let up much throughout the book. In addition to the overuse of these words, the story was for the most part, fairly predictable, and when the outcome of a situation was not immediately apparent to the reader, the author would simply interject an improbable solution into the storyline, like the cavalry, or Mighty Mouse, showing up in the nick of time to save the day. Merlin appeared only a few times throughout the story, and was referenced not much more. I doubt very much I'll purchase book eight.

My 12 year old son and I both love these books. Fun and adventure and clean.

Loved it

I enjoyed Doomraga's revenge. The hardest part is being a bystander as Merlin and his son sever their familial ties. Basilgarrad does his best to save Avalon, but will it be enough?
