Great quality for the price.
I got this so I could process my wax capping's from honey harvesting. I like to boil the capping's several times to clean the wax from honey and debris so I was just looking for a cheap stainless pot greater than 5 gallon. This fit the bill and does a great job, I was actually impressed with the quality.

Nice heavy tri clad pot
For the price it is a good quality brew kettle. It weighs about 10 pounds with lid. The wall thickness is NOT 18 gauge it is 22 gauge. But I don't know the bottom metal could be 18 gauge. The finish is not very smooth. And there is a small hump in the bottom, middle. If using a false bottom it will rock. Overall a very good pot for the price, I paid about $80 with shipping.

Great pot at a great price.
Good value. Similar to more expensive pots.

Handles come off under full load
The kettle itself is more durable than other models. However, the handles are attached with aluminum or zinc rivets and these break off under full load, leaving holes. This will become dangerous very soon with hot liquids.

WARNING: Is Not True Stainless IT RUSTS, and Mine HAS A HOLE IN IT, IT LEAKS!
I AM REALLY UNHAPY that I bought this very expensive pot, hoping I would get what I paid for. I did not have occassion to use it until recently, but I wish I had because I would have returned it, even though shipping is a fortune in itself.THIS POT HAS A LEAK, AND WHATEVER YOU ARE HEATING WILL LEAK OUT ONTO YOUR COOKING SURFACE, needing to be mopped up continuously. Also, it is NOT true stainless steel. The pot I got not only DOES STAIN, IT ALSO RUSTS.The only hope I have of saving this expensive purchase from being a dirt bucket for gardening, is if I can find someone who can somehow weld over the hole in the pot.My advice to the company: Test Your Products Before You sell them.My advice to buyers: Test your pot for leakage and rusting as soon as you receive it, so you can return it if necessary.
