This frizzy-haired girl is a huge fan of HAI! The HAI Convertible flat iron is the only one I will ever purchase. I've been using them for years. I use them hard and drop them a lot. But despite the "love" I give to them, they always last a long time. I've tried many others, attracted by the promises they make or the lower price, but I always go back to HAI. They've never failed me. They don't pull on my hair. They flow smoothly through my long curly/frizzy locks, making it straight and soft. The temperature is easy to adjust and on this gold version, it goes up to 450. Nice for those super frizzy crazy hair days. In the past I've only owned the HAIs with the blue plates. But this time I got the one with gold plates and I love it! It works as well as its blue plated sibling, but the temp goes a bit higher. Now I need to buy another one because my teenage daughter keeps stealing mine. Thanks for making my hair pretty, HAI! I appreciate you!

I have real thick colored damaged hair and this has been the best flatiron I've ever had. After reading the reviews here, I decided to purchase this one and is the best flatiron I've ever used. I usually use a 1.5 barrel curling iron to do my hair since flatirons would make my hair look stingy, but this one leaves my hair soft and very manageable for days. Highly recommended!

I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this flat iron! I wasn’t sure what to expect, since this is the first time purchasing this brand, but it works great! Love that I can control the temp. I would definitely purchase again, in the future!

Easy to use

It works really well for transforming black curly hair to straight silky hair. Great buy. Definitely saving money and time from going to a salon.

The iron itself works fine, however the plastic gets hot. You will burn yourself if it touches your skin. You have to wear the heat protector gloves while using this. For the high ratings this item received I'm surprised this is not an issue for most users. I'm truly disappointed

Wow after 16 years of using my Hai Convertible it died. I just bought the Gold and it's awesome. It straightened my hair and made it soft and shiney without making it crispy at the ends. I had bought other brands to test them out and they were garage. I'm a happy with my purchase.

I like how easy it is to use and that you can dial down the temperature. It is very gentle on my long hair and I have naturally wavy hair that it perfectly straightens and then my hair stays straight for days!

Sorpresa no sella del todo al planchar se queda abierta y no me di cuenta hasta que empece a usarla porque mis tratamientos no quedan y tengo que utilizar una plancha viejita que tengo porque ya está no puedo devolverla. Estoy sumamente molesta porque es una plancha que me urge que necesito y ya no puedo reclamar la plancha no esta bien y no plancha del lado izquierdo no se cierra bien. Total no me sirve.Miren la diferencia entre una y otra. A las pruebas me remito. Una pena comprar algo como bueno y que llegue en mal estado.
