Won't read most USB drives - gives "Cannot Use Accessory" - requires too much power message
It reads SD and micro-SD cards fine. I was a little disappointed that I can only READ the card, can't WRITE to the card from my iPad. Also, the USB port on the adaptor is useless. Every USB card I have says "Cannot Use Accessory, requires too much power" message. I think it also gives the message if the drive is too large for the adaptor to process. I tried it with a small 512MB card, and it can read it, but it doesn't find the photos on the card, even though I put them in the \DCIM folder, and renamed the files IMG_0001.JPG, IMG_0002.JPG, etc. So 2 out of the 3 slots function properly.

Great for transferring to computer
Would be perfect if you’re planning to connect something to a computer to transfer from the device or memory card to the computer. We wanted something that would allow us to transfer from a memory card from a camera to our phone and this would not work for that.

Don’t depend on using for thumb drives.
I bought for the purpose of being able to link thumb drives to my iPhone but it just says they require more power then what available? Don’t understand that but for a card reader it works great.
