Hummingbirds!!! We hadn't been able to figure how to attach a hummingbird feeder so we could watch from the window adjacent to our back porch. This worked so well. We would have been happy to see an occasional hummingbird. We were rewarded with a small community of them, including a rufus who would chase away others when he came in to feed. Perfect pandemic entertainment when I grew weary of cruising Amazon and NPR or watching Netflix.Highly recommend this for those who might have a place to place one. Easy peasy.

These are the greatest birdfeeders brackets. They are very sturdy as they hold feeders containing ten pounds of seed. There is a knob that loosens so that the bracket can be swung in close to you for easy refilling of the feeders. They also discourage the squirrels. I will not say that the squirrels can not get to the feeders, but it makes it more difficult. I have had these brackets for one month and so far the squirrel has not gotten to the feeder. He has gotten out on the bracket, but then loses his footing. I am sure in a few weeks he might find a way to get there, but it will not be easy for him.

Just need to make sure that whatever you attach it to is hard enough to handle the weight. Soft wood will get indentations.

I ordered this to hang a bird feeder before checking that my deck hand rail was TOO THICK to utilize this bird feeder pole correctly.if only works on smaller rails so check first! My husband was able to make it work by turning it and nailing it in place so without smart thinking would’ve had to return it.

I have put these up but have not hung the bird feeds that I intend to however , the quality is so much better than I thought it would be I expect nothing but good things.Thing the rods are about 3/8 of an inch and the brackets simply slip onto deck rails and large screw lock it in place.Very please with how easy it is to change position of hook using other thumbscrew. No assembly needed.Now I have had them up for a while and they are working well. Although squirrels have trouble they can eventually make it.

Love the ease of use for these hangers.Reasonably priced and easy to grab for refill and maintenance.These fit my needs as most hangers are unlovable or clamp in a way that won't fit on my deck rail...These were the answer to my dilemma . Made very well for many many years of usage!

This one is especially useful for my larger feeder. Don't forget use the whole to screw it into a railing or it can fall off if birds or winds cause it to bounce.

I hung a little bird feeder with this hook and it is perfect. It swivels out away from deck after the feeder is filled and I can move it closer when the feeder is empty. It has a nice 45 degree angle, so the bird feeder is not too close to the deck. It was a good purchase and delivery was fast.

Arrived faster than promised. Initial review is item is well built and feels sturdy/strong (ie no flex) although has not been used outside with anything hanging from it yet. Clamp also appears of good quality and will definitely mount on dimensionable 2” x 4” deck rail (which is actually 1 1/2” x 3 1/2”). Clamp allows for 360 rotation to suit any location required. Bought to hang bird feeder and hoping squirrels not able to reach - we’ll see. Will provide update in few months to attest to strength and squirrel- deterrance - time will tell.

Bought two of these to hold bird feeders off our deck railing. Solid metal construction - excellent quality compared to others we bought in the past. Heavy duty is an apt description. Good value for money, and they look great, too!

Make absolutely sure that this hook will work on your railing because if it does not, it will cost you over 50 dollars to return this item through Canada Post. Obviously it makes little sense to return it at all. The company claims it will credit you up to $10.00 towards your return shipping charges which is really not much help. Don’t get me wrong this is a good enough product as long as you are sure that it will fit.
