Good compression hose for the price
These hose do exactly what they are supposed to do COMPRESS. Several reviews state how hard these are to get on and that is true. I am breaking out in a sweat by the time I have them pulled all the way up! That being said these are very thick hose and when pulling and tugging to get them on I’ve had no issue with them getting ripped and I have long nails. The toe and heal are reinforced. My only issue and why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the foot part of the hose. They seem to be made for giant feet. (I wear size 8.5)The top of the foot wrinkles unless the heal part is on the back of your calf not your heal! So there are lots of wrinkles in the hose on the top of your foot. It's not uncomfortable to wear this way but when I take them off after 12 hours I have major indention lines in the tops of my feet BUT I HAVE NO SWELLING EITHER. So I will take the good with the bad. I am 5’5 and 160 lbs and ordered XL and they fit just right. Just remember these type of hose are suposed to be somewhat difficult to get on or they wouldn’t be COMPRESSION hose.

Reccomend for Postural Orthostatic Tachicatia Syndrome
BEST BRAND YOU'LL FIND FOR POTS GEAR!Edit:Two and a half years later, the same pair only has a tiny hole from my sharp toe nail meeting a sharp rock after I fell down a muddy, rocky, hill in a summer rain storm, barefoot and in shorts (my shoes fell off when I fell)- and a tiny run at the top of my thigh, from a jagged broken fingernail, that hasn't spread and doesn't affect the compression. It's been there a year. The compression level is still the same as the day I bought them. I bought a second pair over a year ago and they're still in pristine condition. I have long and sharp fingernails and am not very careful when putting them on.Make sure to wash in lukewarm water- by hand! and rinse with ice cold water to preserve the elastic. I recommend Dr. Bronner's Castile soap (or another Castile soap, or just baking soda), it's gentle on the fabric and unlikely to irritate your skin since when washing by hand in cold water, there's a higher chance of residue being left on the fabric. Strong detergent can break down the fabric and cause chemical burns or rashes.Another note; these are great in all weather. Like most compression gear, counterintuitively, they keep you cool in heat and warm in cold. The black will cause it to get pretty warm if your leg is directly in the sunlight, though.Original review: These are amazing! The fabric is very durable, compared to the $100 ones I bought from my medical supply store that ripped on my third day of wearing them. they look beautiful, like real tights, and the waist is compressing but doesn't give me a muffin top. Definitely tighter than expected- but that's perfect for me. I recommend these for some one with Postural Orthostatic Tachicardia Syndrome, but get the 20-30s unless you have those nifty special gloves. I'll definitely be buying more of these in the future.

Not bad but next time will buy jobst stockings.
I purchased these in black to wear with skirts in place of regular tights. I have two pairs of jobst compression tights that I wore 24/7 after vein surgery and I loved them. However, I couldn't justify spending all that money on stockings that I only plan on wearing on the weekends. I am 5'4 116lbs followed the size chart and ordered medium (my jobst are size small). Several things to note. These tights are not as flexible as my jobst tights making it more difficult to get on and off. These tights do not fit well in the feet. Even with the heel properly placed I have about 1 1/2 inches of excess stocking that hangs off the foot. These tights tend to bunch behind the knee and around the ankle which is very annoying. These tights also have to line dry (jobst tumble dry low). All things considered I don't wear them for long periods of time so not worth the trouble to return. However if you are buying these in preparation for surgery I recommend that you buy jobst. They are much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time, the fit is better, and they are easier to get on and off

:(
The sizing chart is not adequate. Going by their chart, I ordered a large. After experiencing bunching behind the knee, I ordered a medium. I had the same problem, but wore them for a week anyway after sclerotherapy. At my check-up, my doctor noticed that I had developed a bunch of new spider veins right behind the knee where the hosiery bunched. Not only was I out $$$ for two pairs of hose, but I now have to save up for another sclero session. Don't waste your money on the slightly less expensive brands. Go for hosiery with a sizing chart that includes, ankle, calf, thigh, hip, and height measurements. :(

Ill Fitting
i'm resigned to now paying $$$ for good quality compression stockings. I was hoping these would be great, loved the fact they were made here in the USA and the price was fantastic. when I tried to wear them however, the feet were much too big, the material at the ankles bunched terribly and the elastic waistband didn't come up to my waist, it hit at the hips. I've gained a bit so I thought the XL would be the right size according to other reviewers. if you are thick through the hips and tummy these will not be flattering under clothes because the waistband will give you a muffin top appearance. and the feet being so big, there was no compression except at the ankles where it bunched. I had committed to wearing the things on a trip and was miserable at the end of the day; the bunching had created deep lines in the front of my ankle. definitely returning, great return policy. I don't know who created these but they don't know much about female bodies.

Order one size up after using sizing chart.
I’m a man and need these for leg arthritis and knee stability. Per sizing chart I’m a med, but ordered a large per previous reviews and they fit perfect. Great pair of support tights. Good, firm compression and opaque coverage. I found the microfiber more comfortable than my AW and Futuro. However the other two provide better lateral support for my knees. Not enough of a trade off to pass on the comfort. I use these on days when I plan on sitting most of the day and the AW for when I plan on moving more.
