Books arrived in excellent condition. I would compare the storylines and the illustrations to Beatrix Potter's "The Tale of Peter Rabbit". My 7 yr old daughter loves them!

Sweet series for young readers. Timeless and also a great read aloud for parents as well!

I love these books, and the illustrations are wonderful.

3 of the 8 books were defective. Pages were glued together, a page's paper was split, and there was a discolored line through an illustration. Definitely factory seconds.

I discovered the Brambly Hedge books twenty-nine years ago, when my older daughter was turning three. They came with cassette tapes. The stories were read aloud on the tapes and featured Vivaldi's Four Seasons as background music, the perfect accompaniment to Winter Story, Spring Story, Summer Story, and Autumn Story. The illustrations were magical and incredibly beautiful, with an eye to the tiniest details of the natural world and the homes of the mice. These stories, plus the books that came after (The High Hills, The Secret Staircase, and Poppy's Babies), became a treasured part of my little daughter's library and our shared reading experiences. Now she is about to become a mother with a baby of her own. I have already bought the complete collection as a special gift to both my daughter and my new grandchild-to-be.

Beautiful set of books! Bought two sets - one for my granddaughter and one for my great-niece! Girls both love them! Charming stories with lovely illustrations!

My boys got a video from their Grand parents but I think the hooks wer far better! My Grandchildren are too young to use them but I’ve platt a video for the 3 year old.

Beautiful selection of books in a lovely presentation box. I love the detail of the illustrations. The stories are lovely, bought this for my 3 year old daughter who loves Beatrix Potter - the stories are more wordy than Beatrix Potter stories, so don't always hold her attention for the whole story, but it is as much an investment for the future when she can read them herself as it is for enjoyment now.

Excellent condition. Son loves these stories, as I did when I was small.

Read it to my kids and my grand children love it as well
