A must buy for hot tub owners!
Firstly I'm new to hot tub care and from day one of owning my tub I have been keen to make sure the water is well maintained for health reasons, and also prolong the lifespan of the tub. I've been using the test strips so far which are OK, but I have struggled with reading the TA and pH levels at times. Given that these two readings are so vital I wanted to remove the guesswork from my water testing. Previously I had tried another electronic device on the market (which also uses test strips), but this was not accurate and got sent back for refund. I then discovered the Pool Lab 1.0. So far, I've found the device to be consistent and accurate, the readings respond and are inline with my chemical treatments. I haven't had any bogus readings so far. I'm glad I discovered this device as it quickly highlighted to me that either a) test strips are inaccurate or b) I wasn't interpreting them properly.I had an issue with upgrading the firmware, however there was a resolution on the PoolLab website under FAQs.Lastly, I'm UK based and have found a supplier that stocks the official tablets in packs of 50 for each type, and are also quite reasonably priced in my opinion.I definitely recommend this product which is also easy to use, and in my eyes is reasonably priced.

Properly engineered and versatile tester
Bought to replace a Scuba II that had finally died, having had problems with poor battery connections, poor battery life and dodgy waterproofing since I got it. This, despite being cheaper, feels like a properly engineered piece of kit rather than a toy. Very wide range of tests, solid construction, easy to use and Bluetooth integration with your phone are all strong positives. Accuracy seems excellent. Very happy.

Very poor. Doesn't read the levels very well at all
I am not impressed with this at all. It gives wildly different readings when you compare it to two different brands of the traditional dip strips. So who do I believe? Test it for PH and it comes back out of range, test it with two different brands of strips, and it's coming in at 7.2The alkalinity seems farely accurate. The chlorine levels are OK.On the whole, for what this costs I wouldn't buy another one. I think the test strips are more accurate.

Excellent product well worth the money.
This is excellent easy to use and simple instructions. I use test strips daily and get an accurate reading once a week using this. Not overly expensive for what it can do. Very happy with the product and after sales responses.

Worth it.
Received Tuesday. Instructions are basic but lots of YouTube videos which are useful. Early days but pleased so far.One of the strip of tablets had split in it so got in touch with suppliers and within 24 hours I'd received replacement. Very impressed with suppliers (Castle Hot Tubs).

No more hassle
Fantastic for getting chemical levels in the hot tub spot on which saves a lot of hassle in the long run and no more guessing. Super easy to use.

Amazing
Takes all the guess work out. You need to do a bit of Research of How the chemistry of water is made up and to have a look at the levels that are best for the water. But an amazing product highly recommend
