My husband uses this for his strap winder for his lorry, it's probably a bit too strong so attached it only using half stuck on cos he struggled to get it off lol but it does the job.

Our 8 year old discovered magnet fishing in TV so we decided to give it a go. This magnet is great for beginners. Really sturdy and a long rope. Ultra strong magnet as after just 20 mins use apart from a few nails and screws we managed to catch the side of the canal which was metal and could not get it back off until dad went the next day!

I have not actually used this item but I am entirely happy with the purchase.The item arrived early, securely packaged and good quality, looking forward to trying this out

I'm not going to write a review, I'm going to tell you something that happened. We were magnet fishing off the riverbank (we have a boat, but we were going off the bank in this case) The riverbank had the corrugated steel reinforcing, yes, you know where this is going... Well, upon pulling up the magnet, BANG, it stuck to the steel on the riverbank. First I tried pulling by hand, nope. Then I tried wrenching it off with the boat hook, nope. No movement whatsoever. I tied it to the boat and gently reversed. It held the boat. I went to almost full throttle and it was still holding the boat in place, so I thought I'd take a run at it. I went forward a bit to slacken the rope, then slammed it into reverse. This did the trick. It came off with a mighty force, luckily it hit the water and sank though, if it had hit the boat I feel sure it would have put a hole in it and sunk us.

This is a very strong magnet for the size. Rope is durable only downside is the magnet might rust if left to sit

Very disappointed with this product, on our 2nd occasion of using the magnet... the magnet came off from the eyelet and we were left with just the karabiner clip and the loop ! (See photo) Upset that this can happen and yes, we checked the magnet each throw, believe it’s a bad design, especially for the price.

Let me tell you this.. that is one strong little magnet! I dropped my bike cain down a drain, so I purchased this to lower down to get it. The magnet is so strong that it instantly stuck to the actual drain grate, and I honestly couldn’t directly pull it off. I had to eventually slide it off before stating again to get it down through the gaps of the drain. It found and picked up my lock in seconds and all was well. The little unmentioned bonus of the magnet is it unscrews from its actual metal loop, to turn it into a nice flat powerful donut magnet. Awesome little magnet!!

Product was delivered on time, everything came fine, set it up and through it In the water, when I pulled the rope in. The magnet was no longer attached. What a waste of £20.

The magnet is strong, dont put it on a flat surface, it might be hard to get off.The screw and loop need some threadlock or they might come loose. Dont use a screwdriver with bits, the bit might stick...Quickly delivered.

Ojo, el imán va ENROSCADO. Mejor asegurarlo con cinta americana porque con el uso se va desenroscando y es muy fácil de perder. Respecto a la fuerza... pues fuerza efectiva debe tener unos 20kg (es muy buen producto, muy útil y divertido... pero no entiendo como cuantifican lo de los 132kg... no es fuerza efectiva real. Pero eso sí, es muy divertido).

Bought two and one immediately broke of first time. And yes we checked that it os properly connected. Not too impressive.
