Just received it today. Good packaging. I bought to help with seasonal depression (non-clinical). Studies also show it helps to fall asleep on time. The design is good, brightness is perfect, cord has 46" of realistic practical length and roughly 50" of actual length. If you want the dimmer switch in a convenient location, you'll probably want to also buy a small extension cord. The stand is a little awkward since it is detached and the light simply rests on this very small stand. I did a realistic shake test and it did not tip or fall over, so I'm not fearful of it falling off my desk. Good product so far. Would recommend, albeit my first hour of having it.

It is a bright light. Adds clutter to my table so I stopped using it, but it's a small size and easy to use (just plug it in). I've never noticed it overheat when I did use it.

I have purchased these lights over the years but never used them because they were cumbersome. This light is light and effective. After using it for 3 weeks I feel happy! Best light ever. I can’t recommend dit enough. If you suffer from S.A.D. Buy it.

I am so glad I got this. I have been wanting to get a lamp for years as winters are difficult for me. This is a good product at a reasonable price. Light is powerful enough to use as a side lamp too. Light weight. Easy to use. Actually does what it promises. Helped with depression.

Okay, so I did not buy this for on-label use. I work in a research lab developing light-blocking window films. One struggle we have is that it’s hard to visually inspect them when they block 99% of the light passing through. It took a lot of work to get a microscope to give good pictures of defects. This thing is AMAZING for that. It’s full spectrum daylight, doesn’t add its own patterns to the slides, and it’s so bright that we actually had to put metal tape over the edges so we wouldn’t get blinded by the light that wasn’t blocked by our slides. My boss was really pleased with my discovery and wants to order several more. The thing has a dimmer, so you can control just how bright it gets, but it’s capable of getting as bright as you could realistically want it for the proscribed purpose of bringing sunshine into your cubicle.

This product seemed like it would work well for my office desk, but after trying to use it, I discovered that there must be a short in the cord, the light will not stay on unless the cord is positioned in the perfect way. Disappointed with the workmanship. I didn't try to return it, and now it's likely too late. :/

Small, lightweight. If this is a SAD therapy light, I don't understand why they need to have the variable brightness, in order for it to be effective, you should have it set to brightest setting. It seems okay for now. I'm downgrading the rating because 1. it's metal "stand" is very ineffectual. You basically have to hold it in your hand the entire time 2. The power cable is short and has a stupid LED light built into it. I was planning on using the lamp when I first wake up, in bed, while I read the news. The LED power cable light is bright enough that I need to unplug the unit to sleep. It's like a night light.

I use this during the winter some to generate the feeling of sunshine and I would put it to the side of my body while reading a book for 10 minutes. I'm not sure if it actually works or if it's just placebo, but I would usually feel a bit more rejuvenated and positive. Excited for the day, even if it was a really cloudy gloomy day. If I had the light therapy box it would make me feel pretty good. Overall, for the price I think it's worth it. Don't look directly at it though because it is a bit distracting but you can put it on the side of you angled while watching TV on a medium setting or when reading a book

Easy to set up and use wifh the adjustable rolling switch. Using it as a SAD lamp. Small size, light strength and ease of use are perfect for using if sitting at my desk.

La compre para mejorar la iluminación en mis videoconferencias. Me gusta por que puedes regular la intensidad de la luz. Lo único que no me gusta es la base de la lampara.
