Sturdy and pretty little ukulele
Bought this for my musically inclined 1 and half year old. I was a bit worried that, it being a real ukulele n not a toy, it might be too delicate for our toddler. It's only been a few days but right out of the box, I could tell it was very sturdy. It's not the most sophisticated or polished looking ukulele. It's obviously for beginners, but it is well made. The paint finish is quite glossy and very smooth. All the little details are clean and well made. I especially love how the edges of the frets are filed down making them smooth n safe for little fingers. And so far it is holding up to my child's "playing," which involves plucking the strings aggressively, tapping it on the floor, and putting her foot on it (I'm teaching her not to do these things however for obvious reasons!) .And she loves it! She has been super possessive of it from the moment I handed it to her.And regarding the tuning, I have some experience already with nylon string guitars, so I knew that the strings take some time to stretch. So it's normal for it to take some before the strings stay in tune. Which has been the case with the ukulele. But even then, my old classical guitar would eventually get out of tune, much more quickly then a steel string guitar, so I expect this ukulele will behave similarly.

Par for the Course
This ukulele came in a good sturdy box with an outer Amazon box, which if I recall correctly, was not selected by default - meaning that at the check out process, you'll need to manually select the option for them to put it in an outer Amazon box, so that the product box won't be damaged during shipment and so that the ukulele will be well padded and protected during the shipping process. That said, I've found the sound on this ukulele to be acceptable after some tuning. You'll definitely need to tune it, so just be sure you don't have your expectations not set so high. There are some minor surface imperfections on the ukulele, especially close to the end of the fret board where the tuning pegs are. These do not affect sound in any way, but just detract from the visual appearance of it. I guess if it bothers you, you can sand out these paint ridges, but that's a risk as the sanding process using fine sand paper can make it less visually appealing. I chose to let it be, after all it does not affect the sound in any way. The color of the aqua color I selected online matches exactly what I received. No color discrepancy was detected. In summary, for the price, this is an okay musical instrument. There are of course ones that cost more and would look and sound better, but for a child who wants to just lay hands on a musical instrument, this fits just fine price and size wise.

Kind of a mixed bag
This ukelele came with some black smudges on it, but the sellers were QUICK and RESPONSIVE to send another - and then another. The third one had a tiny smudge - this looks like from the black paint on the neck - but only I can notice it because of my checking the first two. It is super cute and my granddaughter was thrilled with it. I purchased a nice case (the one that comes is just plastic like a thick garbage bag), and a tuner. I also purchased a different ukelele for my grandson, which was twice the price of this one, but it had all this in it, plus a few more accessories. So basically they came out the same price. But THAT ukelele was tuned quickly and easily, whereas this one has not been tuned yet after many tries. I know that all ukeleles take time to keep their tune, because of the strings stretching, but my understanding is that when new, they may need to be tuned various times during a session, and later every time you pick up the instrument. But this pink one can be tuned on ONE string, but after you tune the second string, the first one is already out of tune. So we've never been able to tune all four strings. Now bear in mind that none of us play ukeleles, and we've learned to tune from a friend who is not here to try to tune it herself, and from the tuning instructions with the tuner, as well as from youtube videos. So perhaps we're not good tuners! The price is excellent, but I didn't buy it as a toy. Unfortunately, right now it is. At any rate, this is an absolutely cute ukelele because it is pink, it looks well made in spite of the tuning issue, and is sold by a seller who stands behind their product! I have not tried to return it because even as a toy I think it's worth it.

Perfect for beginners
Bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. It’s great for someone wanting to learn how to play. It lacks tune retention but it’s easy to transport. Good quality for the price

The body is built well, but you'll need new strings, cause these ones suck.
The strings were SO TIGHT when I was trying to tune it. The body is nice and sturdy, and the frame is made very well for how cheap it was, but the strings left something to be desired, they felt like they were gonna snap when I was trying to tune it. I'll have to get different ones.

so nice blue OMG
The color stunned me. The feeling of blue and green is beautiful. I'm going to study the tutorial carefully. Get started as soon as possible. I hope I can play a song for my family at Christmas.
