This old Navy salt really appreciates this ship's bell. Puts me right back on the quarterdeck standing watch. I bought this as a gift for a fellow US Navy Vet and he loves it. I bought a 6" bell and it is the perfect size. The quality is outstanding. It comes with a nice shine, but given that it is brass, be ready to shine that brightwork! The bell has a great sound to it, which speaks to the quality of the bell and its clapper. Kudos for adding the braided rope. Gives it the perfect nautical feel!

The bell is beautiful and the ring is loud and clear, which is what we wanted. Each time this bell rings it is a reminder of a life well lived, the life of a young, courageous Airman, a life cut short in Afghanistan... I ordered this bell for a Climbing wall at a newly constructed Climbing Center dedicated to to my son, SrA Daniel James Johnson who was KIA in Afghanistan. Daniel was an avid climber and while he was deployed to Iraq had actually built an indoor climbing wall himself just to stay in shape and share his love for climbing with his fellow warriors. The SrA Daniel James Johnson Memorial Climbing Center is located at a youth camp he had worked at before he entered the Air Force. We had the bell installed at the top of one of the easier climbs and when a climber reaches the top they ring the bell to announce their success! The ring is clear and a beautiful sound representing how life continues even after our profound loss. Though my son's time in this world was too short, his legacy lives on as young people learn and develop skills of trust and athletic abilities they can carry into their adult lives and transfer into all aspects of their lives. Each time that beautiful bell rings, it reminds me of the zeal and determination of my beautiful brave young warrior. 🇺🇸

Got a shop in a loud industrial complex. Works as a door bell but better and folks love it. Wish it was thicker with a deeper ring as I imagined according to reseller.

Bought for ship's bell for my boat. Going up on the mast in case I need to ring "all hands on deck" or perhaps a change of watch on a long crewed voyage. Or to sound any alarm if the air horn goes down. The inline mount was a big plus as the mast is curved and a 3 screw platform would not look good. Glad I bought this one. Yeah, it's a few more bucks than others but it's nicely polished, nicely finished and even the pull is well made and secure. The tone is rich and full and leaves no doubt in my mind that this could serve well in an emergency. It's going to look sweet on the mast!

This Bell is really Beautiful! It's very sturdy & the sound is nice! It has a really loud ring to it. This will work perfectly for my Event, I'm a Cancer Survivor & I didn't get to ring the bell on my last Chemo day, so we're gonna do it at my Vow Renewal/50th Birthday/Celebration of Survivorship. Very pleased with this product & would definitely suggest it.
