Works great! Nikon G to Sony E Adapter
Best thing is this is cheap at $19! I just bought into the Sony system but did not want to leave my Nikon system behind. So I kept the D850 and eight lenses. Some of those lenses could do double duty on the Sony, such as my 20mm 1.8G, 105mm 2.8 macro, 14-24mm and others. What I lose is the AF and auto aperture and exif reporting. But set the Sony to operate without a lens, turn on focus peaking to aid in manual focusing, and set the camera to Aperture Priority. Turn the dial on the adapter a click or two in so you stop down midway on the aperture size and click away. My adapter fits snug bu not too tight on both the body and lens.Examples are of the Nikon 20mm 1.8G on the Sony A7RIV.

There is no electrical, smart moving parts, or data.
The media could not be loaded. This is a dumb adaptor. What I mean is there is no electrical or smart parts that will connect the lens to the camera. This adaptor simply allows for the lens to be mounted to my mirrorless DSLR. What it does have is an aperture ring that will allow me to control the aperture; although I could do the same directly from the lens.

Great quality dummy adapter but no manual aperture ring
The fit and the adapter quality are great. It's all-metal (well built), so it would add some weight addition to your usually heavy big EF lenses compare to mirrorless camera lenses. However, I can't manually control aperture on any auto-focus EF lenses, so I had to return it. The issue here is the Amazon drop-down options gave a wrong impression (eg, manual aperture ring is available for Nikon to E-mount when cycle through options) that I would be able to turn the fake-looking aperture ring. It's a dummy adapter that has no electronic contact.A clear description (no aperture ring) or just a single independent SKU page (In Amazon App drop-down options) could mitigate potential buyer mistakes, IMHO.

Worked perfect
I had an old canon lens and needed an adapter. Found this one and it has worked great. I did struggle to figure out how exactly it clicks to the lens and the camera body. I put a canon fd on an A7s II. Didn't see any issues with image quality and am pleased. Good build materials. I do wish it came with lens caps, but I wish that about a lot of adapters. Would recommend this to anyone. Great adapter for a great price. Gave it a 4 star because I feel it was lacking directions and lens caps. Throw those in and its the complete package.

Not bad, could be a little better
The adapter works fine. My issue is the aperture adjustment ring. Just does not have full range of motion, its a pain to make sure its wide open or stopped down. The stops suck and do not give you full or half stops, they are just stops without any regard to align them with the apertures. I’m tired at looking through the lens to see if the aperture looks right. It works fine, and if it was $18 or $19 then it would be worth it. For $29 I should have returned it and picked up a comlite.

Way too tight fitment...might damage the lens
The commite MF adapter I have causes the corners of the images to be soft in the pictures even when taken on a tripod with IBIS disabled but it is nowhere near as impossible and tight to put on as this adapter is. The fitment is WAY TOO TIGHT and I am afraid it may damage the lens so I am not sure if I will keep it. Best way I found is to put the adapter on the camera first and then the lens. Also the on/off switch is confusing as well and it look like I have to leave it on the ON/OPEN for the aperture to work on the lens. This is making me want to just sell my last nikon F mount lens (a zeiss milvus 25 1.4) and return the adapter too.

Finally able way to use my Nikon AF-S lenses on my a6000!
It's difficult to adapt modern lenses to Mirrorless cameras due to the lack of aperture rings. I tried several of my Nikon AF-S DX lenses onto my Sony A6000 and I must say that I am pleased with the results. Although aperture adjustment is guesstimating, I found it very easy to use setting my camera to A or M modes. Adapter is well build, feels like solid, and mounts snugly to the lens and camera body. Very pleased.

well built adapter
I've been using adapted lenses on my various mirror-less cameras for close to nine years and in that time I have been through a lot of different adapters. The Gutty adapter is definitely a step up form most of them. The fit is tight, the build quality quite good and it has the added extra feature of rubber gaskets on both ends providing a bit of seal against dust. I've been so impressed I'm planning to replace several of my older adapters with Gutty versions.
