LLC or Corporation?: How to Choose the Right Form for Your Business Sixth Edition

A well organized and informative book that helped me quickly understand what I needed to know to decide what type of business model to use. It goes over many different types (sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, C corporation, S corporation...) and gives you the pros and cons of each. It did a good job of explaining the legal and tax issues without giving me a headache! That's saying something as I am not a lawyer or an accountant and reading things like this are usually a pain... not so with this book.

I started working as a paralegal about 30 years ago, and Anthony's books were necessary and required reading in our legal offices. Nearly 30 years later, I just purchased several more of his books as primary references for my consulting firm. Nolo Press markets his books and manuals and they are the best source for learning to do your own pro per work.

At the time that I purchased it, it was a wonderful resource with all the information I needed to start my business.Giving it 4 stars because my version might be outdated by now.

Very useful book for those who know little about the topic. Breaks down information well and will get you up to speed prior to consulting someone with legal expertise (I recommend).
