Brilliant acting
Dickens is brought to life brilliantly. When his books are acted so well on Audio then I prefer to listen to them than read them

Dickens - what can I say
How did he think of the names? Pecksniff, Gamp et al. I discovered more in these audio BBC recordings about Dickens' characters and even his political views.

Excellent production by the BBC
All the dramatisations are of the very high quality which one expects from the BBC. Enjoyed listening to these very much during my long walks.

Organisational problems
The BBC dramas are very good. Some are a little dated but well worth listening to. The problem with these collections however is that there is no information on the order of the dramatisations and in many instances there is no announcement and no indication on the track information where you are. Thus is you want to find the dramatisation of Oliver Twist you have to run through the tracks trying to find the opening words that lead you to a young women about to give birth in the workhouse. A PDF would be really welcome. Otherwise on Audible they are a really good buy.
