On a whim decided to give this log a try. It worked great for our beach camping trip where firewood was a bit on the expensive side- we actually split these logs and built a fire around them and they lasted so much longer than the firewood alone. This stretched our firewood stack a little longer and we still got the crackling wood we love with a longer burning fire.

That's what this is and it says you shouldn't use it for cooking food (s'mores) so just be aware of that before using. Don't get me wrong, we still used it for smores but tried to do them over the wood that caught from using it instead of the Duraflame itself.

Incredibly disappointed. This is a single log. I would have never paid this much for a single log. It's been a long time since I was upset with an Amazon purchase and this takes the cake. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY this product. TOO EXPENSIVE.

Im one of those that can’t keep a fire going without shooting it with fluid . This is a great alternative. Stays lit and came quick.
