on reading more or less averagely positive reviews I thought to give it a try..sometimes it picks up something (even after you used nasal drops etc), but in general it is useless.You can not clear baby's nose with it when baby is properly ill, you might pick up something though.. but what is the point?comparing to the one where you use your mouth (manual pump) it is like comparing 1 star and 5 stars.. and therefore I will give it a 1 star.. save your money, as I would 100% returned the item if I didn't consider it to be a hygienic bit of kit (not sure if return policy forbids to return such item though).maybe some day they invent something like this automatic pump that actually does the job, - this does not.. but at least you would have the manual pump included with this item as a backup (added one star for that, so if you desperate at least you will have something that actually works to potentially save the lives).The only point is.. maybe.. if your whole family feels like they cant use the manual pump without getting sick on it, then automatic one is better than nothing.. and it also able to make baby cry (as it is scary, loudy, and maybe painful a bit, I not tried it on myself), and when baby cries the nose leaks more and you actually able to clear it better a bit.. well..

Another mistake for not paying attention to the average reviews although there are very few.My son had a cold and bought this in an urgent attempt to clear his nose so that he can breath at night.I followed the instructions, used nasal spray. Used all the different type of fittings and tried different techniques, however it only sucked very little of the mucus. What worked well was the manual suction that is provided for free. Luckily that helped. Unfortunately since I purchased this item a few months ago.in that time we have used the manual suction as the machine itself is not useful to us and parks in the drawer gathering dust. I am not sure if I should give it to someone or throw it away as it is taking up space in my drawer in its box. Lesson learnt...always pay attention to the reviews!!

It was difficult to figure out how to use is properly and suction could be a little bit better. But will suck easier bits.

I have tried a few different aspirators and this is by far the best one I had. It aspirates great and my baby is not afraid of it. Furthermore, it has a super design and I think i‘ll buy another one as a present for my friend who also has a newborn child.

This product is simply awful. Does not work in any way. You are way better off getting a manual one you suck one end. This gives no suction and managed to clear absolutely zero. Avoid.

Perfect nasal aspirator, quite noisy but it does the job and I have a baby that isn’t as congested as she was! 3 types of filter and it’s easy to clean.

Love it. Easy to clean and works fine. Will be getting another one for a gift
