This is a Great book! It covers everything in an easy to read and understandable format.Text explains most basic to intermediate and advance S7-300 instructions through manyworked-out examples and explanations of the solutions. Since this is a self-teach manual,it is assumed that reader may not have any access to a PLC instructor, to discuss anyproblems. It does not require you to read the book cover-to-cover as well.You can use it as an as-you-go reference guide, to quickly get yourself going.

Excellent book ... it is filled out with lots of worked out examples with complet solutions which helped me to better understant how to use instructions

i checked the preview of the book at my kindle. So far only some general facts about the Siemens PLC is uncovered, but nothing about the real important content of the book. from these facts i would not recommend to buy the book. one or two chapters which are written about S7-programming would be way more interesting to read about and finally to make a decision to buy or not.

This book is consisted of about 390 pages with many examples one can practice the application of STEP7 software instructions that are applicable to other brands of PLCs as well. I disagree with the previous reviewer. I have learned so much from it! It is a useful tool with practical applications and examples which make things very clear, and easy to understand and apply.

This book was only supposed to be a reference for my PLC project but I have learned so much from it!

A very informative book showing step by step procedures.A gem for any Siemens enthusiast.

While the content of the book appears quite shallow, it's actually hard to get to it as the language used only remotely resembles English and often completely defies all grammar and logical structure.

A lot of the diagrams are displayed as a black box on my kindle. I have to keep increasing the font size to see the remaining diagrams, then back again to read the text, painful.
