Had a splenectomy and needed a binder to help keep the staples holding the huge incision stable. The black and silver elastic band is very attractive, and does not get as quickly raggedy or worn looking from the velcro fasteners as the white elastic binders.The Ortonyx binder is much nicer and easier to put on than the white elastic ones. The unobtrusive red logo label can be easily removed and this binder could be considered a fairly stylish accessory rather than a medical device. It's very comfortable and pliable, and still very good at keeping incision wounds stable.

Great stretch and size. I use it to hold thermacare heat wraps in place. The XL fits but tends to roll up. Snip the strap off, add some some waterproof tape and viola... an adjustable heatwrap that fits snugly and doesn't roll up.

I have an inflammatory condition, mesenteric panniculitis, which causes me to have frequent general abdominal pain. Not much to do for it other than do things to keep inflammation at bay.However, I noticed by accident that my back support seemed to alleviate the abdominal pain if I had it snug and positioned just right. But a back brace isn't great for daily wear. Then I read on a forum that abdominal binders also help some people's dysautonomic symptoms, which I am also a suspect for.Honestly, I forget to wear it but when I do it really does help with the abdominal discomfort. Best of all, it doesn't dig into me if I position it right and it's very discreet. I can put it on under my normal clothes or between an undershirt and overshirt without anybody thinking I've got a girdle on.It's an inexpensive way to help with any number of applications and is very good quality.

I bought this for after abdominal surgery. I needed a binder for short waisted people...this is a perfect size. It is easy to put on myself, just need to concentrate. I wore it all day and it was comfortable. The sad part came when I took off the dress I had been wearing and noticed an odd wrinkle across the tummy. Upon further inspection of the dress, I noticed that the binder had actually snagged the inside of the dress! The dress cannot be worn outside of the house; now I have a house dress. If you buy this, be sure to be mindful what you wear over it. I wear most of the day and all through the night; it's comfortable as it can be under the circumstances!

Hysterectomy must have! This style is simple, and keeps things in place internally while you heal. A Godsend to provide abdominal support when coughing or sneezing could really hurt without it. This supporter is super simple and effective, and perfectly adjustable as your swelling goes down.

This is the most comfortable abdominal brace wrap I have experienced. Comfortable and doesn't make you look like an extra size up in your cloths. I will probably get another.

The width and strength was as advertised. The material was a bit harsh and is probably better suited to wear over a shirt vs directly on the skin. It’s important that the Velcro be attached to the band. If it extends beyond the edge of the band it irritates your skin. I also wonder how long the Velcro will last, but so far it seems to be holding up.
