Buy this one not the 2020 Model
My 4 year old son and I have 2 of these, Grave Digger and El Toro Loco. We race them together all of the time and love them. There is a new generation of this toy made by another company, do not buy that one. The best description of that one I can give is there are plastic motors in the back, where these do not have them. We paid an average of $23 each for our trucks and have gotten our money back 10X's over. Their bouncy tires allow them to jump off of things like a step or porch, and the bouncy tires make them jump over things like deep cracks and sidewalks. They are $20 trucks, yes they do not drive strait, and the battery life is ok to good, but they are worth every penny. We have so much fun with them. They last 30 to 40 minutes, but we are usually done with them before they run out. They are a 4 year old's toy and get treated like such, and they work every time I turn them on. My wife bought me an $80 truck that I sent back, to get one of these. I do not regret it in the slightest.

The truck is good
This truck is good and durable. I made the truck jump a few times, i have owned this truck for an year and the truck has not got a scratch yet. The truck takes more time to charge then it takes to discharge. The horns move up and down. What you need is two AA batteries for the remote. The truck has an USB charger, the first time it will be hard to open.

I'm gonna round it up to 4 stars
The media could not be loaded. Let's get right to the most important question...How's the battery life??My 5-year old and I have played with this through 7 recharge cycles and here's what I found:The first 10 minutes of a fully charged battery are BLISSFUL because:1. This thing is pretty fast. It's faster than you'd think it'd be for twenty bucks (price at time of purchase). It zips around the house! Its obviously faster on tile than carpet but it still kinda moves on thick carpet. It's also quite fun to take off of small jumps or down a stair or two. It will also TOTALLY "monster truck" right over a bunch of hot wheels cars. It chews em up!! lol.2. It's maneuverable. It's quite responsive with the remote and turns quickly as well and feels more expensive because of that. Now, having said THAT, it is near impossible to keep this going in a straight line. I'll line it up 10 feet from a fun, little 8 inch high jump and I HAVE to make quick, micro adjustments to try and hit the jump straight on. The drift adjustment switch under the car is pretty useless. It'll overcorrect far too easily. That's definitely frustrating.3. Durability. Our El Toro Loco has hit a wall at full speed at least, what, 50 times? It keeps going and going! This thing has taken a pretty good beating already and just keeps smiling. The back part of the body does pop off at times but it's easily reattached.Okay, so between 10 and 20 minutes it starts to slow down, somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes.Between 20 and 30 minutes it continues to slow but still fun, just not as fast or responsive. Around 30 minutes it'll just stop.Charging the battery: it's a love/hate situation.LOVE: there's a built in USB charge cable. You slide off the compartment under the car and remove the approximate foot long cord and plug it in to a USB port to charge. It's quite convenient. It would be cool if there was an option to plug in a battery if you wanted to keep playing but I guess whaddya want for twenty bucks.HATE: there's not a USB port on the car. It would be amazing if there was a USB C or micro USB port that you could simply plug your android cord into the car. As convenient as it is now, it's still kind of a pain dealing with the included USB cord, stuffing it back in the little compartment after its charged while it's trying to pop back out.By the way, plugging it into a USB 3.0 does seem to charge it faster than a 2.0. I wanna say about 45 to an hour for a full recharge.PRO TIP 1: (I'm a pro now, lol) IF THE CAR ISNT SWITCHED OFF, IT WILL NOT CHARGE. MAKE SURE IT'S IN THE OFF POSITION.PRO TIP 2: At times a hard hit will disconnect the car from the remote. Turn the car off for a few seconds then turn it back on. This usually works. If it doesn't, the battery is probably dead.P.S. I didn't mention the remote. Nothing to write home about. Batteries last a whole lot longer than the car, as expected. It has been dropped a few times on tile and still going strong so I'm content with it.P.S.S. Also, the tires are nice. They're a squishy rubber, not stiff, which adds to cushioning the fall from a jump or being thrown by a frustrated two year old. I'm very happy with the tires! All in all its TOTALLY worth $20. I'd probably be okay with paying all the way up to $35 or so, but for twenty I'd say maybe buy 2 and have one perpetually charging. Buy it and have some fun.Hope this was helpful!

Fun for my boys
Battery life is only 30 minutes and charging takes overnight so play time is quite short but it is easy to use.

Grandson Thrilled with this toy
This remote control truck is awesome and my grandson loves it. It is rechargeable, comes with batteries already in the vehicle, so it is ready to roll. He plays with it constantly and it is the only remote control toy that has held up to his constant use. The price was also very, very reasonable. Couldn't have found a better toy for the price.

Worked great for almost a month
We bought this monster truck for our son and he has loved it, up until a few days ago. It started making a weird noise when he would try to drive it, but it still was working. Then, yesterday the section that attaches the tire to the bar that steers it snapped and made it unusable. We were able to get it glued back together so it worked, but then it wouldn't drive forward, only backwards. My husband took it apart and found that the gear had worn down to the point where it's not engaging and is therefore useless. Our son was so sad to hear that his monster truck won't work again and we're disappointed in how quickly it broke. Not sure if we'll buy another one or not, based on how quickly it wore out.

very awesome, great customer service!
This is an awesome truck! We got this for my sons 6th "Big Birthday gift" he loved it! however, we may have had a faulty one, however with in the first week one tire fell off where the plastic axle was attached and ould not be fixed. BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT and quickly sent a replacement! Hoping the new truck hold up as he really enjoys it and drives it all over!

Don't forget to charge the truck
It's exactly as pictured. The batteries in the controller don't seem to last but that could be because my son plays with this nonstop! He's extremely happy with it so that is really all that matters.
