These burl caps have air dried for nearly 3 years, exceptional in figure, and will produce beautiful projects. The surface of these blanks have been planned and/or sanded and misted with denatured alcohol to bring out its beautiful color and figure. They make an excellent choice for turning, carving, platters and also make incredible casting material for pen blanks, game calls and knife scales. As with most burls, these caps may come with small pockets of voids and/or inclusions. And as always, we stand by our products 100%.
